We booked two excursions through Jamie's which were both great. The kayak/hike to Meares Island was an experience of a lifetime. The guide was so knowledgeable and shared so much info. In addiiton, we did a bear watch which was wonderful. Again the guide provided tons of information while throwing in some bits of humor. The crew in the office... More

Thoroughly enjoyed this trip and the guide was very knowledgeable. We saw five bears in all and the water was as calm as a mill pond. We saw some seals too.

We took a Hot Springs Cove tour with Jamie's. Thank you to Corene for helping us with the special arrangements. Ryan, at the front counter, was professional, polite and kind. Boat Captain Chris was patient and very safety conscious. We were asked several times if we we comfortable, if we wanted to stop for photos, and if we had questions.... More

As members of a group touring south-western Canada we were taken in Tofino harbour aboard Jamie's Whaling Station boat "Stellar" along the superb banks of magnificent Clayoquot Sound in search of shore-foraging bears. The two-member crew was really professional, first as regards the security precautions, then concerning our comfort and above all the spotting of those bears (and a few... More

During a visit to Vancouver Island's west coast we took two trips with Jamie's - whale watching and bear watching. Both trips were very well organized; the boat captain showed great respect for the wildlife and observed all the good practice not to disturb the animals in their habitats. The on board tour guides were knowledgeable showing excellent scientific as... More

Arrived in Tofino and booked our trip to go whale watching with family. Great trip we saw sea otters, different types of seals and some whales. Captain was very informative and the two ladies helping were great too. Offered blankets tea coffee and even alcoholic beverages. Great trip all in all.

We took a whale watching trip at the end of the season - the captain and crew were great and found some greys for us to see, as well as sea lions and the serendipitous sea otter. Very experienced crew that knew what to look for and kept us warm and entertained. A good value, and a comfortable trip.
