This was a quirky venue that essentially was more of a hobby than a place to get custom items. Most items were decently priced but not what most people want to buy as tourists

I am sorry you considered my venue a hobby as I have made glass for close to 40 years, supplied over 300 locations, sold millions of dollars of it and could have, if you had asked, made something custom for you overnight. Thank you for your comment about my items being decently priced. I guess you weren't in my studio... More

I love glass art, but this studio just didn't cut it for me. If you are looking for colourful glass done up in interesting shapes etc., this won't work for you. Yes, loads of earrings which are well done and nice, but they are expensive, so be warned (two pairs for $78). Platters were uninspiring and done in clear glass.... More

Thank you for giving me some Tripadvisor feedback. I'm sorry but I cannot be all things to all people. Given that I have been told that my earrings are nicer than those seen by glass lovers in Paris or Venice, they are inexpensive. I have been producing those 'uninspiring clear glass platters' for close to 40 years, supplied over 300... More

We stumbled on this place on way back from a walk. Might not have gone in if i had the reviews on here! The owner is clearly a bit eccentric but seems really passionate about his work. He also was spot on with his recommendation about a local restauraunt. Lots of interesting products. We ended up buying one of his... More

Though I didn't buy anything I sure would've if I had more money. I found the owner very pleasant, nice, and accommodating. I had read that he will put the ashes of a loved one within the glass of any art piece. The owner was happy to have a piece ready for me the next day, but unfortunately we didn't... More

This little shop is close to the roadside a few blocks away from the main shops of Tofino. There is a great variety of fused glass from clear to bright colours including jewellery, bowls, platters, masks, etc. After reading a number of reviews we almost hesitated to go in, but then thought we would report on our own experience. We... More

Thanks for visiting and taking a look. Your review is fair. You either like my earrings and other items or you don't. Maybe next time you will find something to your taste. More

My husband and I had always wanted to go to Tofino as many of my co-workers had been there. We toured every little local craft venues. The Art glass place was amazing and we ended up purchasing a few items.

bought some wind chimes and a flattened bottle that could be used as a cheeze plate. Very friendly owner/artisan. would recommend glass products from here.....glassware, earrings, pendants, some windchimes and other unique glass made products.

It was my 60th birthday and visiting Tofino for the first time. This art glass studio was recommended by one of my good friends. I purchased beautiful buttons for one of my knitting project. There is something for all taste and budget. It is interesting to see different artisan and their work. Kevin was also very informative. Thanks Kevin for... More

We often stop at small independent artist studio places while travelling and love art glass. The art glass in this particular shop was not to our taste. The specialty seemed to be the face masks as seen in the other traveler's picture. We found them kind of creepy but if you like the one in the picture then stop and... More

I am sorry that you felt your visit was not worth the stop. I have many people who seek me out every time they visit Tofino. I have unique items they know they cannot find anywhere else in the world and they must visit my studio in order to purchase since strangely in this day and age, I do not... More

Not sure what everyone's problem is with this place, but I liked it! Its cute and quaint. I love the uniqueness of the earrings and appreciate how he incorporates sand from the beach in his pieces- definitely original. I didn't think he stared or was rude in any way, in fact he was very helpful in offering suggestions of places... More
