    Must visit - Rainforest trail
My wife and I visited Ucluelet and Tofino and highly recommend a visit to the park trails. Highlights were the rainforest trail. We also did the bog trail and Florencia Bay. Many in and out trails are closed due to COVID which was unfortunate. A day pass for two cost $20 and is valid until 4pm the next day. Well worth it to see these trails and support upkeep of these treasures!

    Huge old growth trees
Lovely wander around the laid out walkways dotted with information boards. You need to buy a "park pass" from the car park which costs $21 for 2 for a day. This lets you visit all the beaches as well

    romantic getaway
We stayed at the Blackrock Resort in Uculet which is set on the ocean with picturesque views. What made this an amazing experience, was the friendly and helpful staff at the front desk (specifically Julie) and also, we paid an upgrade fee to get into a signature room which was over looking the water! Wow..what an incredible view we had!!! We could hear the sound of the waves while enjoying coffee in bed or out on the sundeck all while enjoying the humpback whales migrating through. Highly recommend this property!

Long Beach is famous for its long stretches of sandy beaches, dramatic shoreline, and powerful surf. It's a popular spot for surfing, beachcombing, and taking in beautiful sunsets. Visitors can stroll along the sandy shores, watch the crashing waves, and enjoy the coastal scenery.

Fantastic national park with awesome views and rainforests to walk through. The trees are enormous and it is an excellent example of this type of ecosystem. Would highly recommend the rainforest trail and seeing the different beaches. There are not too many hiking trails here compared to other national parks but I imagine this is to protect the forest. There is good hiking and activities in nearby Tofino and Ucluelet.

What a great place this part of the world is. Great coastline, great forests, a magnificent wilderness that must be preserved. Some nice little walks and trails

Just off Highway 4 between Ucluelet and Tofino, there are two rainforest walks, one on either side of the road. At the time of our visit Walk B was closed. Walk A was mostly interesting. The walk way is a little narrow with no railings at the side, so you spend some time watching where you out your feet. Some fantastic trees to be seen. It is 1200m long but be warned it has quite a lot of steps.

This is well-worth visiting for nature lovers. The beaches are amazing, and the forests seem like something out of a movie! Most trails are smooth gravel or well-maintained boardwalks, so it's easy to walk around. There are lots of paved bicycle paths too!

Spent time here with the family in summer of 2022. This park is so large that at least it’s not crammed with people. A lot of very beautiful and wild country. Trails to hike, wandering beaches and bike paths, gives everyone lots of space. We dropped in at the grocery store and then took the short Combers Beach trail to the beach and wandered along till we found a totally secluded spot to have a picnic lunch. We walked miles and miles along the beach. Virtually alone. The beaches further north have more people. Also a beautiful drive to the west side of the island. I think at one place it shows a 17% grade on the road. Easily spend 5 days or even a week depending on interests.

Probably one of the most beautiful places in Canada. A friend called it spiritual, it definitely is awe inspiring. During a stormy day with high winds, the power of the ocean is memorizing. The day after the storm with the sun breaking through the clouds is even more so. Do all the beach walks. The two short rainforest trails are very beautiful. So glad we experienced this national park.

We really enjoyed our time in this park and really wished we’d had more. The views fro Radar hill are beautiful, the beach at the bottom of the Combers bay trail is wonderful vast and empty, the rainforest trail shows tall lush forest from well constructed boardwalks and the bog trail shows the effect of marshy ground on stunting vegetation. You could explore a lot by bike also as bike trail is parallel to road.
