Overview
More
Rainforest Trail has two routes, A & B, both of which fully engulf you in the temperate rainforest full of gigantic western red cedars and western hemlocks. Sparking a sensation of zen, you will be overcome with the nostalgia of your childhood memories, ready to make more. Scan the upper canopy for birds, listen to the trickle of water and smell the life of this highly productive forest. Trail A is located on the opposite side of the highway from the parking lot. Trail B starts from the parking lot.

Went there shortly after it was completed. Was a great walk, even though at the time I was a little disabled from an operation. I had no trouble getting to the end and back.

Great walk. Nicely paved path, except at the terminal closed to the ocean, where severe erosion has resulted significant damage to the foot path. Trees are very old and grown to sky!! Good for nature lovers and trailers.

Did a late afternoon walk along a part of this trail with the family. Would have kept going except for losing light. The trail is lovely as it winds along the coast with picture perfect views of the ocean and coast along with wooded trail....More

This is a great little walk with lots of steps and boardwalk. Unfortunately, the one path was closed for construction.

My partner and I explored the trail in October and it was well worth our time! It was very quiet (we saw maybe two other people the whole time we were there). The rainforest is so lush and peaceful. If you have mobility issues I...More

this was an eyeopener with ancient trees, moss through hills and valleys. It is a short hike about 1.2 km but all along a narrow boardwalk of cedar. the boardwalk is as impressive as the scenery.

This trail is a great little stop, especially if you are camping in Green Point. We walked over and explored the trail. Lots of neat old growth trees and nature to explore!

It's a short drive from Tofino, towards Uqleut. If you go to the visitors centre you can pick up a free map and all locals should be aware of it.

If coming from Nanaimo way stop at Cathedral Grove on the way. It's before Port Alberni. Short trails but huuuge beautiful trees - much larger than the rainforest trail. There's one taller than the leaning tower of Pisa!
