Waterfront Station is an architecturally beautiful building. It was built in early twentieth century and is now a hub for a range of different modes of transport.

Waterfront station is located at the end of both the Canada and Expo lines. It is a very nice and aesthetic station which also hosts a number of small shops and restaurants inside. There is plenty to do nearby in Gastown also. In addition, the station allows for connectivity to the Seabus (to North Vancouver) and long distance rail networks via the West Coast Express.

Convenient train for getting to airport, etc., but too bad you have to walk all the way to the Cordova St. entrance when there's another entrance that could be used closer to the waterfront.

Signage is clear and fairly easy to get around. Astounding that there are no public washrooms.. This station has thousands of visitors that pass through in our wonderful city and NO WASHROOMS...BEWARE....

Hosted a business lunch. Seating was private and just what I wanted. Food was good. No alcoholic drinks. Service was exceptionally attentive.

This is the first/last station for the Vancouver sky-train! Very nice architecture and very scenic! Could be crowded if visited during certain time of the day but still worth visiting!

Updated to modern standards, but still holds that charm of yesteryear. The friendly, helpful staff are a jewel. Only downside was ten bucks per bag to store them while we wandered the town on a five hour layover.

It's like Vancouver's Grand Central station. All forms of city transportation departs here. Buses, trains and Sea Bus. It's got a beautiful old grand charm to it. Take a second to look at the architecture design it's beautiful. If you want to experience a train station in this city. This would be the one to have a look at.

While I've found myself disappointed and depressed at the number of architectural marvels that have gone "under wraps" as serious work is undertaken on their exteriors, it was a delight to get downtown and see "The Station" is not only still standing, but still functional. Built over one hundred years ago to handle transcontinental trains, it has renaissanced into a twenty-first century transit hub for sky-trains and sea-buses. It has gone from bringing immigrants from the east, to serving commuters from all points of the compass. And, as the photographs show, it retains its original artwork and gingerbread. If you are from out-of-town and enjoy architecture, you'll love this!

Always enjoy coming here to see the unique architecture, as this is the main stopping location for Sky Trains / Seabus & Wets Coast Express. Nicely located in downtown Vancouver & easy way to access the North Shore!

Is it easy to go from Waterfront line station to the cruise terminal with luggage ? Trolley are available?

are there facilities at waterfront station to store luggage for the day

We will be flying into Vancouver a day ahead of our Alaskan cruise. Would you know the approximated cost of taking the Skytrain from the airport to Waterfront Station? Where at the airport would one buy Skytrain tickets?
Written January 10, 2019
Hi there.....You can buy the skytrain tkts right at the station at the airport. It costs approximatley $7-8 each I believe. You can buy the tkts with a charge card at the kiosks. The best thing to do would be to exchange some money in the airport to use for your stay in Vancouver and then use the cash while in town.

Is this a good way to get from airport to Hyatt hotel
Written December 26, 2017
Yes, if you are staying at the Hyatt Regency on Burrard Street? Take the Skytrain from YVR airport, should be a 10-15 min. walk.
