I did a lot of research before choosing which company to go with and feel we made the right choice. The captain was great and made every effort to keep us with the whales. The naturalist was really informative. We saw a pod of Orcas...More

My daughter lives in Vancouver. So, when I came from the States to visit I really wanted to visit Wild Whales again. I booked a trip for 3 of us. We needed a seat for a member of our party that had some mobility issues...More

We were a bit late getting to Granville Island, which made things a bit more hurried than needed. The office is not directly adjacent to the boat so plan for about a 10 min walk to the boat after filling out registration papers. This in...More

As an Oceanographer, I already did whale watching in several places, but at Wild Whales Vancouver I must say it was incredible. First our guide, Ashley, is the most enthusiastic, in love, cheerful person about whales i've ever met. It makes all the difference. She...More

First time going whale watching and it was absolutely amazing! Went on the June 6 trip with one of the new tour guides (Justine I believe) and had a blast. The weather was perfect and there were no waves which made the ride out enjoyable....More

Obviously, whale watching is a gamble. We hit the jackpot. You can't expect that you'll be able to spend an hour with eight whales celebrating a kill on every tour, but what a whale watching company can do is ensure that they have the most...More

Enjoyable day on the 10am boat on Wednesday 6th June. Took a bit of time to find the whales down in the San Juan islands but were lucky enough to find a second pod much closer to Vancouver on the way back in that we...More

The team did a great job exploring other wild life including sea lions and harbor seals. Getting to see a pod of orcas was the highlight of the day, but we also learned a lot about the Eco system and some ways we can all...More

Such an amazing trip and definitely recommended if you’re staying in Vancouver. Gemma was a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide and we got to follow a group of Orca for about an hour which was incredible!

I will not get a ‘helpful’ vote for this but it’s the only advice anyone should give - ask a doctor they are the only ones qualified to say.

It depends on where the whales are. I was out for almost 7 hours the other week because we had to go to the San Juan islands to find a pod. The crew were great and the boat was comfortable.
