Worth a look if in Vancouver. Great place to look out to the city and the ocean. Can get very busy during rush hour but also interesting to see how the traffic flow is managed. Walk over best but by car next best but worth a visit.

We were only able to drive over this amazing bridge as we did not have time to stop in Stanley Park and walk over to it. However, driving over it from the park to North Vancouver was a thrill. I get a big kick out of driving over bridges like this one.

This bridge has been in more movies than any other bridge you can think of including New York. All the movie studios in North Van use it for something or the other.

This is a lot like the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, expect it's green, not red. Great views of Stanley Park and the ocean.

Its a classic! Even better when it light's up;I mean its not Calgary or Edmonton but its got a certain 'thing' about it. the only downside is driving over it from the north shore.

Vancouver artist K. I. Campbell painted the best view of this bridge, called it "Evening Departure" . . . Sunset, a cruise ship, Stanley park, and The Bridge! Painted 1988 just after the lights were strung along the cables, the lights were a gift from the 1986 World's Fair "Expo '86" For more very interesting facts, see recent review by... More

Beautiful to watch from far away but if you use it then it is totally different story. Easy to kill an hour just to cross it

I grew up on the North Shore and used to cross it daily, for school, work, and leisure. Here are some historical facts many people do not know: 1) the bridge was financed by the Guinness family (of World Record fame) so they wouldn't have to take a boat to their properties in West Vancouver. 2) during construction, the bridge... This bridge looks impressive and the view from it when crossing is very good. We were able to park and walk to take photos.

Staying in Stanley Park

Neighbourhood Profile
Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views, beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical getaway spot for friends and families, especially as it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its best equestrian outlets.
