This bridge looks beautiful when it's lit up at night, a monument to Vancouver's cosmopolitan romance and sophistication.

The Lions Gate Bridge is very impressive. The best places to take pictures of the bridge are Brockton Point and on Stanley Parkway Drive.

We drove over here , the lions head was at the front of the bridge , some amazing views as you come across the bridge , you don't want to be driving because you want to be able to look .

Built in 1938, it is tall enough for the massive cruise ships to pass into and out of the port of Vancouver. It is one of the defining sites of Vancouver.

The story of its construction is interesting, as are the decorations at each end, but catching some views while visiting Stanley Park is more than adequate. Not worth going out of your way to see it.

Like the Golden Gate, this bridge and the Capilano are the pride and joy as well as claim to fame for all Vancouverites. Cannot be missed from the vantage lookout area under it as one tours Stanley Park.

best place to view the bridge is from the lookout at the top of the crag at the head of Stanley Park. Toilets, rstaurant and parking there so easy to get too but better to walk there.

Lovely walk down several levels past formal and wild plantings. Salal berries - yum!! No idea what they were until a passer-by told me what I was carefully tasting. Such a good addition to a bike (or Car) ride around Stanley Park.

This bridge is nice to look at and very easy to drive across on our way to Whistler. Not a lot of traffic.

it is necessary to travel over this bridge to go out of town. The bridge is busy and at night it is a lovely sight to see the lights. You also go under the bridge in Stanley Park

I find this review somewhat humorous since...well....a bridge is still just a bridge. But..there are two good things about this bridge. One, it takes you to and from North Vancouver and when going South you go directly through the middle of Stanley Park. We have...More

Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up
close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy
expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views,
beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical
getaway spot for friends and families, especially as
it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its
best equestrian outlets.

As another reviewer has suggested, if you definitely want to take public transit, you might do better to ride to West Vancouver and walk back south on the bridge rather than walking north on the bridge. There are several... More
