Amazing place, focused primarily on research, rehabilitation and education. A great variety of species from different climates and plenty of information on the local habitats

Absolutely love this aquarium. I've been to many large aquariums all over but this one is my favourite. Very personable and informative staff. I love the dedication to helping preserve, and save wildlife and nature. Teaching people who to care about the planet more. The...More

Came here expecting an amazing Aquarium but found a simple one. Sincerely the experience left a lot to be desired. Don’t recommend it unless it is a rainy day

This a rather small aquarium but informative. It's definitely worth a visit to see the otters and the stingrays. There was an area for 'petting' of stingrays when we were there...And it was quite the experience 'petting' the rays when they swim by. There are...More

Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up
close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy
expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views,
beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical
getaway spot for friends and families, especially as
it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its
best equestrian outlets.

Thanks for your replies. I think we'll drive to the Aquarium this time and save the sea bus/city bus adventure until he is older and I don't have so many things to carry.

Very small aquarium, and sadly the beluga whales which were the main attraction have passed away.
