Ahhh this was an amazing experience! It was SO much fun. 3/4 of us were first timers but Yves helped each of us catch these beautiful sturgeons! Not only is he a super experienced guide, but he's an incredible host! He provided snacks, drinks and lots of laughter. He also took the time to take photos for us. Honestly it was a great day full of fun memories. I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you, Yves!!

Fishing with Yves was top notch! As a professional walleye fisherman and guide myself, I know how difficult guiding can be, this was first class all the way thru. Yves went well above and beyond to help us not only catch monster fish but also went out of his way to help us film the entire expedition! The day we fished the temp had dropped over 20 degrees from the day before and went from sunny to raining! Anyone that has fished a lot knows this doesn't spell good conditions for fishing, Yves has it mastered! From being out way before picking us up getting fresh bait, to how carefully he handled these fish when they were caught, to explaining the tagging program to us in detail, this was a incredible trip. I highly recommend Yves to anyone looking to catch one of these monsters! The other 2 boats out the same day as us never got a fish! We landed 3 monsters and lost 2 more of the same caliber! Don't just take my word for it though, go to "THINGS CHRIS DOES" on YouTube and you can watch our entire trip and know exactly what to expect, from the time you step in the boat until you finish the day! Class act, we look forward to fishing with him again!

Bucket list - check! What an awesome experience. My first time fishing on the mighty Fraser, Yves was awesome. Super knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Every spot he took us to, we caught monster fish. I can’t wait to get out in the water again!

This was a once in a lifetime experience. Yves was incredible! He took us out 2 days in a row and both trips were unbelievable! We landed a total of 13 monster sturgeon over the 2 days. He was very personable and very knowledgeable as well. I would highly recommend him and hope to return again with my dad in the future

We literally got off the boat an hour and a half ago and I just had to write this review. I knew my son and I were going to have a great day cause hey we’re on the water fishing and the weather is great. I had no idea just how epic our day was going to be! Yves was awesome! So knowledgeable, fun and always helping with great advice. From the start of the day till the end we were catching bigger and bigger sturgeon! Check out the pics of the last 2! I won’t just recommend Yves, I’m telling you. You want a great adventure, you must book with him!
Thanks Yves, we will be back!

I visited British Columbia to do a special type of fishing I'd never done before-- sturgeon fishing! These massive, beautiful fish are unlike anything I've ever caught, though if I had to compare, it was like the weight of a Goliath grouper crossed with the running and jumping of a tarpon. We ended up catching 6 total sturgeon, with 4 of them being more than 8ft and 300-400 lbs. It ended up being a lucky day, as apparently encountering that many fish in that weight class is rare! I really enjoyed learning about the conservation component of the sturgeon tagging program, and hearing the catch history of the tagged sturgeon we caught. More than 70,000 sturgeon have been tagged, which is amazing.
Seeing such a big fish on the end of my line jumping in the air was an indescribable feeling. Reeling one in is a true test of heart--these creatures are very powerful and have no shortage of energy. I was in such awe to be in the water next to such massive, amazing fish. This was definitely a bucket list experience that I'm really grateful to have had.

Absolutely amazing day with Yves, 3 large sturgeon on the lines, once in a lifetime kind of fishing trip with the beautiful mountains around and huge fish with almost a guaranteed catch.
Sturgeon pull like a steam train so if you want a fight, that’s what you will get!
The boat is incredibly clean and Yves is incredibly knowledgeable, I hope to return some down for round 2!

This was, without a doubt, the best guided trip I've ever been on. It exceeded all of my expectations. My wife and I caught several big fish, including three over eight feet. Yves is very professional, knows and respects the resource and is great company on the boat. He really knows the river, pays attention to detail and coached both of us through our rookie mistakes. It was a privilege to fish with him and be able to see these magnificent fish in person.

We recently embarked on a ‘bucket list’ three-day Sturgeon fishing trip with Yves Bisson, owner and operator of Yves Bisson Sturgeon Co. Operating out of Chilliwack and Hope, BC on the Fraser River – our trip with Yves was extraordinary.
Being a year-round fisherman, Yves possesses a most valuable understanding of the Fraser River. This, along with his skill and guiding knowledge provided us each the unmatched thrill of landing remarkable Sturgeon throughout our entire trip.
Yves commitment to the complete Sturgeon fishing experience was immediately evident.
In regards to us; paramount to Yves was our comfort and enjoyment. His boat, impeccably clean and powerful, ensured a smooth and comfortable ride as he navigated the river. Our fishing gear from the well-maintained rods, reels, waders, and boots to the perfectly chosen lines, hooks, sinkers and bait was all top quality. We were offered coffee and snacks, and he graciously allowed us to bring our own food and beverages of choice onboard. Yves proved to be an engaging companion, as well as our guide. His well-known photography talent allowed us to capture the thrill of landing our fish in real-time. The pictures he took and promptly shared with us added an extra layer of excitement to our experience.
In regards to these outstanding fish; so impressive is Yves' caring, concern, and obvious appreciation for the Sturgeon. He demonstrated a genuine commitment to the well-being of these exceptional creatures by ensuring each fish was measured and photographed quickly and carefully before being safely released. Yves' dedication to conservation and sustainability is commendable, and added to our respect and admiration for him as an outdoorsman and guide.
We wholeheartedly recommend Yves Bisson for an extraordinary Sturgeon fishing adventure. Yves' unrivaled expertise and complete understanding of the Fraser River, coupled with his commitment to excellence and top-of-the-line equipment, ensures a memorable and successful outing. Whether an experienced angler or novice – younger or older - a Sturgeon fishing trip with Yves Bisson on the picturesque Fraser River is an experience you don’t want to miss. Thank you, Yves, for an unforgettable trip!
