I recently went to Vancouver on a family trip. Sturgeon fishing has been something I have always wanted to do, so I found Yves Bisson Strugeon Co. and booked for two days for myself. The boat launch we left out of was about an hour and a half away from where I was staying in Vancouver and the drive was beautiful! When I entered the boat I noticed the top notch gear and Yves immediately offered hot coffee for the cold day we had ahead of us. Even the coffee was top notch! Yves never failed to make sure I was comfortable. The views and the results were unmatched. Yves is an absolute professional and you will see for yourself, from the pro tips to the fast efficient rigging to the interesting facts about the fish and water itself. I have fished my entire life from deep sea to freshwater neighborhood ponds, but this fishing trip was difinitely one for the books! It was an amazing experience with Yves Bisson Sturgeon Co. and I highly recommend giving Yves a call. I know I will for sure be going out there again with Yves because the experience is unmatched.

We went out with Yves on an 8 hour guided fishing trip today and Yves knowledge of the river and experience made this trip worth every penny. We got 6 fish today all well over 6ft in length within some serious girth. Yves knew where to go for the quick hits and treated us like family. This trip included a top notch lunch too which was world class. I would definitely recommend Yves to anyone looking for great day on the river. I will go back for sure

Our company had four different fishing excursions booked with Yves Bisson and each and every one of the groups had the same reaction - this guy is the best! He's so knowledgeable about the sturgeon and their habitat and is sensitive to their well being. We had lots of people in our groups that had never fished before and Yves was so helpful in making us feel at ease. The lunch he cooked up for us was delicious as well. If you're nervous about anything in regards to going on this adventure let me put your mind at ease - you will be well taken care of! We're already looking forward to our trips next year and would highly recommend him to any company looking to do a little team building.

I recently had family in town from South Africa and wanted them to experience fishing for Great White Sturgeon. We had the most incredible experience fishing with Yves Bisson Sturgeon Co. Not only is he amazing at catching big fish year round, but he is knowable about the sturgeon and he teaches the best practices on how to safely handle this amazing river monsters! I have fished around the world and this is the most amazing catch and release fishery I have ever experienced! Yves made our photos extra special by supplying matching chest wadders for everyone. I would highly recommend anyone wanting a first class sturgeon experience to call Yves.

What an experience! The service, preparation, treatment, guidance and education was amazing. Yves goes above and beyond just dropping lines in the water and sitting around waiting for something to happen, his understanding of the river placed us on the fish and resulted in a full day of action packed fishing. Already thinking about when we will do this next. Can't recommend Yves enough, you won’t be disappointed!

My husband & I took our son and his son, so 3 generations, on this one day sturgeon fishing trip. We had an amazing & successful day of fishing. The weather was great and Yves was a fantastic fishing guide. He knew all the right spots to take us. If you think you’re going to have to bate the hook and get all fish stinky, get that out of your mind cause he does it all. You just have to sit back and wait for that fish to take the bait and then it’s time for you to do the work. My husband and I are 66 yrs old and our grandson was 13 yrs old and we were all quite capable of hauling in the fish. We caught 6 sturgeon ranging from 4 1/2ft long to 6 1/2 ft. Would definitely recommend this to any family. It was an experience our 13 yr old grandson will never forget.

First, let me tell you about Yves. He is the kind of man you want as a friend. He is hard-working, kind, funny, and can give and take a joke. Beyond that, he is a man of integrity who knows the industry and has a high level of respect for sturgeon and for fishing as a whole.
I would recommend anyone to go fishing with Yves. This trip was my first sturgeon fishing experience. We were only out for a quick 4-hour trip and caught 2 sturgeon over 8 feet long and 300 lbs. At that time (my buddy) also caught a 3-foot 'little guy!'
We had a phenomenal time and my arms are still felling it! Thanks, Yves. Can't wait to go again.

This is first time of my life for White Sturgeon fishing.
I thought winter time is very difficult to catch but Yves have great skill and knowledge to find a fish to get bait.
Also, I am so happy about how he take care of White sturgeon. He is so much gentle guy to take care of this fish.
He have right skill to catch fish and very great guy to guide us!!

Yves is a great guide. Took us (a group of first time anglers) to the right spots and we could have at least one fish every hour of the entire day. Also we got the big ones.
It was really beyond expectations as we never thought it would be on our first time that we would be blessed with the big fishes.
Also, the BBQ was amazing. Very delicious and having a great variety of food.
