OMG Elvin Assassins'!!! I was Legolas in lord of the rings. We played some archery game and slayed orcs and dragons it was so sick. We also played a really dope escape room called Alice. It was trippy I recommend this location for any group. It was pretty big inside they had some free classic arcade games and even car racing. I will be back with better archers next time!

EvolveVR is a BLAST! The Top 20 high school competitors from the CPABC 2022 COIN competition played the Alice and Sanctum virtual escape rooms for bragging rights. Everyone had a great time in their team-based games. I'm coming back for their driving simulators!

Went for a friend’s birthday and played for an hour. It was my first time playing VR and it was so much fun!
The staff were very helpful explaining how to play the games and even recommending a few games based on our interests.
There are free video arcade games in the lobby as well as you wait for your friends to arrive.
Some beverages are available for purchase as wells since you can work up a bit of a sweat playing these!

Wow just left with a couple friends and what an absolute blast. We did some archery which felt super cool and realistic. Then we did a VR escape room that was perfect for teamwork and cooperation. We all agreed we had to leave a review it was so fun.

Very disappointed. Staff wanted to get off shift so didn't give us a proper tutorial and we just had to figure out how everything worked as we went along. Very litle help along the way. Had the potential to be great but the staff really let us down. To "compensate" they gave us a whopping 10% discount. Poor customer service - should have comped us the visit.

This place is amazing. We did a escape room in virtual reality. The best time I ever had. The staff was very helpful. It was our first time definetly will be back again! I wish we booked for longer 1 hour went by so fast

I was skeptical the first time I went I’m from the times of arcades for $.25. The staff helped alleviate my wariness. I/we had a blast! Jump 3 years forward, took a friend visiting from Calgary to Evolve. I was only planning to go once with him. We went back as often as we could before he left town. He loved the car racing simulator. Thank goodness there’s a comfortable lobby area for folks to relax and wait for their friends to finish their virtual experiences. I commend the cleanness of the entire establishment. I go whenever I can. Beat Saber all day any day. Drummers dig that. Helps with the chops and physical fitness. Check them out.

My wife and I went to this amazing VR lounge we were only going to try an hour but stayed for 3 hours that went by so fast!! The staff were amazing and we would totally recommend to our friends!! Plus they have awesome looking merch!!

My son and 7 friends came for a birthday party here. We booked 6 booths for 1.5h, to be rotated among the 8 kids. With the exception of a 7-year-old and a 13-year-old, everyone was 9-10. I wasn’t able to find useful reviews, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. But it looked exciting so we decided to go for it.
Facilities: Good. The place has a front desk with two leather sofas and a cooler (for cold drinks you want to buy). There are 10 (or so) booths for playing. It’s nothing impressive, but clean, tidy and comfortable.
The experience: Of the 8 kids there, one came out in tears after 10 mins, feeling dizzy. He was fine after a cold juice and some snacks, but didn’t want to go back in. The youngest kid, 7.5 years old, complained of dizziness after 25 minutes, recovered after 15 minutes, then asked to go back, played for 10 more minutes and quit. The rest of the group didn’t experience dizziness and played for 65 minutes or so. We had 30 minutes in the end to have snacks and cake, which we did in the reception’s open area. They set up a table for us. Our cake and drinks were stored in the drinks cooler/fridge until that time.
How things work: The staff helped each kid get set up in their booths. There is a helmet/glasses and a pair of handheld remotes. I was told they were going to play a group game. The staff spent about 20-25 minutes trying to explain things to the kids, helping them, going in/out of booths, etc. Eventually, a staff came to me and somewhat frustratedly told me they kept dropping out of the game inadvertently, so what did I want him to do? I was annoyed by this. My response was, well I don’t know, what do you suggest?? He suggested forcing all of them to play in one game. (Why, thank you for doing your job!) We did that, and it seemed everyone finally got the hang of it.
Conclusion: Would I have a birthday party here again? Yes, but for kids 12-13 or older. Six booths for 1.5 hour with 8 kids taking turns is the perfect setup, in my opinion. However, the staff told me the most ideal group size is 4 (to play a group game). I have nothing negative to say about the overall experience, but I felt the staff could have been more helpful and attentive. They were helpful and patient enough, but only acted when they were asked, instead of leading and guiding.

Brought my son here, and I ended up playing in the awesome arcade for hours. My son just loves this place and is now one of our favorite place to visit in Vancouver.
