On a hot June day it was lovely just strolling along Kitsilano Beach. All sorts of activities are available from Kayaking to beach volleyball to tennis and basketball.

Great for families, quiet and very clean. A lovely neighbourhood and the salt water heated pool looked amazing but we sadly didn't have time to go in. There is a very nice kids play park just behind the beach.

I love hanging out at Kits beach. You can see north Vancouver and mountains from the beach, as well as downtown skylines. It's a great place to fly kites, and sunset view is fantastic!

Great beach and suburb, I lived here in this suburb in 1983, it's the Bondi beach of Vancouver, looking at the mountains. The water is freezing, even in summer.

Great for people watching. Wide range of people, activities and beach festivities. A nice place to spend a Sunday afternoon. Sea breeze cools off a hot day. Beach Volleyball games always on, some at high level. Large swimming pool but there can be a line...More

buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving
their mark on the number of organic restaurants and
fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of
