Seriously avoid this park, it's absolutely full of homeless people and tents. Never felt physically endangered, since our hotel was nearby and we had to walk by it, but better safe than sorry. 100% not for kids or tourists.

The park is used by local vagrants as a place to shoot up. Walking through past the children's climbing frame and swings, I watched a junkie cooking a spoon with a lighter. There is no good reason to visit this place... It has the ambience...More

A perfect example of Vancouver's hypocrisy. The city claims to be the best city in Canada, while a tent city grows in the middle of downtown.

This is not a park for visitors. It is a park for homeless people and people in need. Don't bring your children there.
