Home of the Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra, this venue was rather disappointing with a large group of "street folk" camped on the pavement at the main entrance.

Was here for Steven Tyler with Loving Mary band. We were seated in the middle of the upper balcony. Great looking venue - very cool just to be in the building. Smaller venue for this kind of concert so we were closer to the stage...More

My wife and I recently had the privilege of going to the Orpheum Theatre for our very first time. Not only did we enjoy Ron White and Alex Reymundo, but just the experience of being able to see inside this historic and beautiful facility, was...More

Enjoyed two concerts by the Vancouver symphony orchestra during my stay. First night had a seat on balcony row 10, wished I were more near the orchestra. The next night had seats on 6th row downstairs with not much visibility but there was space behind...More

What a beautiful theatre. Stunning inside, really impressive so go and enjoy a great symphony. We chose Chris Hadfield and along with his entertaining songs and interesting stories we had music ranging from Star Trek to Star Wars - The Force Awakens. A fantastic evening...More

Most of the high school graduation ceremonies are done in this historic building. Stage, walls, ceiling, pillars all so beautiful.

Architecturally exquisite inside ; a surprise given the external facade. Acoustics are good for Vancouver symphony even though we were in last row of top balcony. Had to stand to see dancers on front of stage. Entrance was poorly organized and took too long. Poor...More

Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and
has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs

nights are the most popular and lively, with young
revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping
the party going until late. Granville Street, being

Where is the best seating for seeing a one-man musical show? Have never been to this theater and optimum seats can vary from what looks good on the map. Any suggestions?

There really is not a bad seat in the house; however, if you are wanting to see something close then I would avoid that upper balcony.

Inside of Orpheum, there is a kind of bar. You can have a drink some icecream, but for food you should go outside. Plenty of choices for every taste.
