While most people on the cruise are tourists, I love going on this cruise (3rd time) with my girlfriends and just this August took my boyfriend. Luckily, the weather was fantastic.
The staff are friendly. The food was well prepared and we were able to have seconds from the buffet. We ate both the salmon and the chicken along with all the salads. The desserts were too sweet for my tastes but still very nice cakes. The cruise was lovely - spent most of our time outside on the deck enjoying the views. The commentary about Vancouver was nice but I have heard it before so I didn't pay too much attention this time. The best part is of course went the boat tucks in close to Silver Falls . I would recommend this 4 hour cruise to anyone - it costs about the same as going out to fancy restaurant but it comes with a nice cruise on the Indian Arm

What a very pleasant day to spend a sunny day. The crew were helpful and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Food in abundance and of a very high quality. The boat was ship shape, clean and polished to a high standard and it was a pleasure to sail on her. We recommend this to anyone who is seeking a combination of a relaxing cruise yet wanting to experience an exhilarating 4 hours in the worlds best scenery.

We did this cruise today - an 'Ab Fab' way to spend 4 hours over a lazy lunch. Pre-allocated table seating, so no speedy boarding issues, the freedom to roam around the boat inside and out, an excellent buffet and a bar which sold the cheapest drinks we'd come across in Vancouver! The 4 hour trip was really relaxing with wonderful scenery, great photo opportunities (we saw seals basking on logs...) and friendly crew members. Highly recommended.

We were abroad the MV Harbor Princess, it was a okay trip nice boat ride around the area. However the dinner service abroad the boat was terrible. We had to wait for drinks to include water to be served and once we were able to order drinks again wait for a very long time for them to bring them to us. The food was okay nothing special and served buffet style thank-god for that part. I would say don't be in a hurry carry on some water prior to getting on broad and have patients most of all.

We booked the Sunset cruise and we seemed to be forced to sit on one side of the boat right against the ships walls/portholes- windows. Loads more room on the other side of the ship

We seemed to be crammed in this space, sitting on each other lap ie next table right next to us - few inches away, 4 people to a small round table.

We should have been more spaced out. Lower deck was not used except for the Tour guides who ate their meals in a large space area, rather have sat there!

The food was average/buffet food and was served right when the sun was setting - which I found odd due to the fact I thought we would see the sunset and then eat

For what we got I thought it was very expensive. I think it was the worst trip we went on in our Canada vacation.

Yes, you sail around the harbour but serving the food as the sun was going down I still cant fathom that one out when it was a "SUNSET CRUISE!"

So you either eat your hot buffet food or watch the sunset and then eat the cold left over buffet food

There was various tours on our trip, so this may explain the crammed seating area. Or it is just for ease of the waiters serving the drinks.

On arriving for the termination of the cruise. Ship had returned to dock. Staff were shouting for us to that we couldn't leave and tried to stop us leaving the stairs from the buffet deck where we had been seated. Thought this was slightly extreme.

It was not due to heath and safety either due to us having already docked. No one was drunk either.

One person from another group ignored the staff blocking the way down and walked down the stairs to get off the ship. Maybe he didn't like the crammed seating area, the food or atmosphere either

Also Bar/waiting staff made an error on some of our groups drinks bill. Also added 8 person tax to the bill. So be aware.

With hindsight - I would have enjoyed our evening on land and in a proper Vancouver restaurant AND saved my money and not gone on the expensive SUNSET DINNER CRUISE on MV Britannia

Not value for money in my opinion.

(NB; I went prior to this on a sunset cruise on Campbell river and this Campbell River cruise was thoroughly more enjoyable, cheaper and more fun!

Thank you for taking the time to review our Sunset Dinner Cruise. We will pass on your comments directly to all of the staff involved. Our buffets are heated throughout the duration of the cruise, and guests are invited to the buffet for the best suited meal time. Should a guest wish to delay going to the buffet to take in the view, they are most welcome to. Safety of our guests is of our highest priority, and it is standard procedure to ensure our vessels are securely tied to the dock before guests are allowed in the stairwells and for disembarkation. We appreciate your feedback, and sincerely apologize if it fell short of your expectations.

We were a bit wary on arrival seeing the high number of people joining this cruise. We needn't have worried because as soon as we were shown to our table and our drink orders were taken we settled into what was an extremely enjoyable evening. The staff were great and despite the number of people being catered for the food was of excellent quality and quantity to satisfy everyone. The views from the deck of the sunset were incredible and we managed to get numerous lovely photos. The musicians on board set just the right mood and were a pleasure to listen to. The time passed all to quickly before we had to return to shore. It was lovely to see people having fun during this enjoyable evening on the water. Well done to the hard working team that put this trip together.

Tip - You have assigned tables, so it doesn't matter if people sneak and force their way in front of you to get a better seat, which they will do.

It was a nice cruise. It lasts a good length of time and the views are spectacular. I am not sure if you can request a deck, but if you can, I would recommend requesting deck A, because deck B is hotter then the gates of hell. There were quite a few people who kept going up to the front to open the two patio type doors to get some air in, but staff and musicians kept closing it. There are two air conditioners, but they weren't on. The food is served on deck A and when we went down there to plate, it was nice and cool and breezy. I think the view would be the same, but I cant be certain.

The food was good and a nice variety. It was good for a vegetarian diet, but not vegan. I think you might be able to request special dishes ahead of time though. I did see someone with a meal that was completely different from the buffet fair, so I assume they requested something ahead of time. Drinks are extra.

The staff were great and the musicians very talented. One of the servers went around to ask if we needed a cab, which we did, and there was a line up for people and cabs when we got off the boat and walked a short distance to the parking lot. There is no Uber :( If you are taking a cab and you are waiting in line, go to the back of the line and wait a bit because the parking lot is crazy and it takes a long time for the cabs to get out. Wait for things to thin out a bit.

Over all it is a great experience and I think the ticket price is a good value based on the quality of the dinner, entertainment, and view.

I chose this cruise (4 hour Indian Arm) to see views of Vancouver. Unfortunately as a single traveler I was seated in an area without a view in preassigned seats. Needless to say to I was displeased. Staff is apathetic at best. I can't see how Harbour Cruise could seat one or 2 people at a table in front of a wood panel on a sightseeing cruise. They should be ashamed for collecting money for this table and should not place anyone in such a seat. I sat outside for most part rather than at table where meal was......so I could enjoy the view. Again staff knew what a horrible seat this was and were unapologetic and apathetic.

Once one gets beyond the coast with the barges and industry there is a spectacular view. Barges and ugly industry were dreary and should not be part of tour. The McBarge actually noted on the tour is an embarrassment to Vancouver....what a horrible sight.....and to note it on guided your is beyond ridiculous.

Food was average. One has to pay for soda...Not included with lunch....

We did the Indian Arm lunch cruise in June and had a great time. Boat was big and spacious and we scored a great window seat to see out of while we ate some scrumptious food from the buffet. Full bar which didn't gouge you on prices was great too (think they old took cash so be sure to bring some). The Captain was able to bring the boat right up into the waterfall and waited for everyone on board to get their photo taken with the bow of the ship at the edge of the waterfall - pretty cool stuff.

Had a wonderful evening on the Constitution Sunset Dinner Cruise. The scenery was amazing. Had a very good Buffet dinner consisting of fresh salmon and roast beef along with salads and veggi's and roasted potatoes. Also had desserts and fruit.
It is a cash bar but quite reasonable. Had a great 2 piece band playing music through the evening.
I would recommend this Dinner Cruise
