The dinner cruise on The Constitution paddlewheel was a perfect way to view the harbor and sights of Vancouver. Each deck and the bow afforded a different perspective of the bridges, the shoreline and of course, the lights of the city. Good food, good drinks and the warmth and friendliness of the staff made the experience marvelous and memorable.

A great option on a beautiful evening when staying in Vancouver, British Columbia overnight after Alaskan cruise. Very relaxing with unique entertainment being provided by a young man and his father(?) playing guitar, bongo drum and singing wide variety of songs. Evening was staffed very well and personable. Full bar and buffet of high quality. Couldn’t ask for more of a beautiful evening on the water the scenery was beyond compare!

This was much nicer than I had expected. The boat was NOT the paddle boat pictured, but a much nicer newer three deck ship. Very comfortable! The quality food was very good with a good choice of menu items. They sat us with another lovely couple at a 6 seat table (all were like this) so it gave you plenty of room as you get up frequently. The route took as all around Vancouver from the Harbour, under the Lions Gate Bridge and up False Creek as far as it could go then back again. Very scenic with a gorgeous sunset! Highly recommended!

Very nice evening cruise with excellent food. They were a little understaffed at the bar area and would not allow you to purchase your own drinks. With one person trying to serve our entire deck floor, she did the best that she could. Perhaps it was that we were not purchasing liquor...

A very informative one hour sightseeing tour of Vancouver harbour. Our initial booking was cancelled by the operator but they accommodated us on a sailing the next day. Lots of outdoor space on the vessel for photo opportunities. The audio could be improved as it was often difficult to hear the guide on an upper deck.

It would have been appreciated if you had confirmed with us before setting out. We were only two minutes late. Not only we have missed the tour we have been looking to, we also lost the fee! At least we should be compensated. "Sorry" said by the unwelcoming faces was more disappointing!

I took this sightseeing cruise with my family and friends and it was amazing. The weather was beautiful, the tour guide was knowledgeable and the views were gorgeous. I would definitely recommend. Great and memorable experience at an affordable price.

This was a lovely trip out, into the Indian Arm, past Deep Cove to Silver Springs Waterfall. The scenery was spectacular, with lots of photo opportunities. The boat was skilfully manoeuvred into the side so we could get close to the waterfall, although it was not fully flowing because of the dry weather. My Husband's not got the best sea-legs but he was fine on this trip.
The lunch was very nice: chicken or salmon, which was served to your plate on the buffet, but everything else you helped your self to: potato salad, green salad, rice salad, a range of bread rolls. Followed by a choice of pies. Refills of tea and coffee and water, with a well stocked bar if you so desired.
The cruise leaves at 11.00 am, but you need to be ready to board at 10.30 am.

What is the dress code for a sunset dinner cruise?
steveandjudy1994
Chatham, Canada239 contributions
I would say a step up from casuals. No denim but anything else would be fine. I wouldn't get too dressed up, after the meal we spent the rest of the time on the upper deck enjoying the view. So be comfy and take a warm sweater preferably with a hood as it can be quite cool when the sun goes down

Is the Sunset Dinner harbor boat cruise wheelchair accessible?
Au P

Hello Chris and John. I remember there being a ramp from the jetty to the boat and then I think there was a step down into the boat. Also to access the toilets there is a part of the metal door frame that you need to step over. I am not sure if for the entry they can have a ramp put into place to assist someone in a wheelchair to make the transition smoother and safer. The hallway to the toilets and to upstairs is not wheelchair friendly and narrower than probably required. You are either seated upstairs or downstairs for your meal and I did see assistance given to those that had difficulty climbing the stairs. I feel maybe you should make direct contact with the company and see if there is another ramp for the entry into the boat. I found the staff in Administration very helpful and approachable. I hope this answered your question.
Hi, I am planning on going on the Indian Arm Luncheon Cruise with a group of my friends, and I read from previous experiences that there is assigned seating. If we're all purchasing our tickets separately, is there any way we can still be seated together?

Recently took the trip & staff were very helpful, a few people wanted to sit together & they were happy to make adjustments. Phone the office ahead of time to be sure & let then know you'd like a table for ...how many. It's a wonderful seating area, no bad seats. KH

Dinner is at tables or anyone takes a plate and sit where he could

On our cruise, we were assigned to a specific table. There were place cards at our table/seats so that no one else would sit in our places. This being the case, we did not have any input as to where we would like to sit (upstairs, downstairs, in the center of the room, next to the window, forward, aft, port, starboard, etc.). I hope this helps.
