We wanted to take a tour of downtown so we decided on this one. Staff were very nice & friendly but I think it was very overpriced, all tour companies charge the same. The tour was guided by a recording, which was really difficult to hear when traffic was noisy. A real live person giving the tour would have been... More

Fun Bus Tours is a great way to see the sites in Vancouver and Whistler. Van was comfortable, clean, and safe. Costs are the most reasonable in the Area and provide many special stops to take pictures and sight see. Excellent Value!

Thank you all from Santa Fe, and San Jose, it was a pleasure to take you all to Whistler and Shannon Falls for a fun filled day trip. Even with the 7000 Gran Fondo bike riders on the highway, we still had a good day trip. Thanks to you for your patience and for sharing your time with me. I... More

I purchased a groupon for 7 members of my family for the four hour tour of Vancouver in 2/2012 to use in 8/2012. I emailed Kent to make sure I could get a reservation for the day we were available before purchasing the groupon. He was pleasant and told me to call to confirm 24 hrs in advance. I emailed... This customer emailed us and we let her know in advance that we had to collect the dreaded Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) on her purchase as required by our government here in BC. If she had read her Groupon voucher she would have known this fact and expected it and not been so upset that she had to pay a... More

Liek many of the other individuals who have reviewed here, I had the unfortunate experience of using a coupon deal with Fun Bus Tours. The owner operator was slightly hostile and very unfriendly regarding this situation. Unfortuantely for him, there was no fine print about the use of the deal in conjunction with full paying cusotmers, as he tried to... More

Hi Traveling for fun, I am sorry to hear that you expected a high quality tour for free, and that you were willing to mislead us to get it. When you booked several seats on a bus indicating you have regular paying guests in your party we decided to run a tour to accommodate your group. But you reneged on... More

We had a Tour with two Australian Guys for four hours. Kent and Margret know the place best. Very personel and good riding. Had a lot fun. Good and interested tour guides. Nice, small bus comes to all placed, that are worth to see.

Purchased two Living Social four hour bus tours of Vancouver in May 2012. Made reservations several days before we left Colorado. Called the day before to confirm (June 2nd) and were told to call back AM of June 3rd to "see if others were booked on the tour". Called and there were no others booked; did the same for two... Hello Mr. Wiebke, be assured that we would have loved to have shown you our beautiful city as this is what we love to do. We have served hundreds of happy customers this spring, and dozens with discount coupons, however any particular tour is subject to a minimum number of participants. In the busier summer months we usually get enough... More

Kent offered our group of 4 a wonderful view of the beautiful city. We originally opted for the 2 hour tour but were having such a great time we extended it to 3 hours. We had a terrific time and found Kent to be very knowledgeable about the city and attractions the city had to offer. Kent was fun and... More

As a CPA surely she should understand that if there are only two customers wanting a tour on a particular day the tour is unavailable. Although it is unfortunate, on occasion due to lack of bookings our company is forced to cancel a tour. For a small company to go on tour for several hours with just one or two guests is cost prohibitive, which sometimes force us to cancel a tour, especially when we get last minute cancellations. In the above case we had... More

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
