Rented a kayak for a couple of hours. Was overall a good experience. The business is located near to shops, art studios, restaurants and the Granville Island market, so if you're with a group that doesn't want to get on the water, they'll have plenty to do while waiting for you! Before 6 pm that is. At 6 the market closes and although there are restaurants and live theatre in the evenings, the place starts to feel deserted.

The paddle was good, in two hours you can see some of downtown, Stanley park and the north shore, or you can opt to head east for more urban views.

I recommend going early in the day for calmer paddling, and early in the week (Tuesday) for discounts. Under $50 for a two hour rental including tax. Staff were friendly.

We had the evening kayaking tour in False Creek and it was seriously amazing. Our guide was Tadhg and he was absolutely fantastic. He went through all the history of the buildings and arts in the area in details, pace with our kayaks and made sure we were safe while enjoying the harbour during the busy hour of sunset before fireworks. We had a great time doing the tour and will absolutely be doing it again!

We did a version of the Zodiac boat tour and Bowen island dinner with the added bonus of watching the Celebration of Lights fireworks from the middle of English Bay. Dinner was very good. Jules was an amazing captain and guide. I didn't think they could do it but they got us from dinner to the center of all the boats in English Bay just in time for the fireworks. I've watched the fireworks from both sides of the bay before but this was by far the best view. As I watched Jules skillfully navigate us through the dark very crowded bay during and after the fireworks I was reminded of the saying, "As busy as a long tailed cat in a roomful of rocking chairs"

Thanks

We booked kayak tours on the website of the operator. The operator canceled our reservation on the day we were supposed to be kayaking. Also, the operator did not apologize and did not show any sympathy for destroying travelers plans. If I could give minus rating, I would.

two hour kayaking tour exploring Vancouver shores with Sinead.
Excellent all around! Sinead was a lively tour guide, and also a gentle but effective coach for those of us who were not quite familiar in a kayak. She made us all feel like pros!

This is surely is amongst the most disheartening experiences! My kids one 16 and another turning 16 in 3 months were not allowed to kayak even though I had secured spots for a double-kayak on the Smooth Classic Kayak Tour.

Apparently anyone under the age of 16 needs to be accompanied by anyone 19 years and older in a double-kayak. However, the website clearly says "Any paddlers under the age of 15 must be in the front of a double kayak with someone who is at least 19 years of age in the back."

The Manager, Rachel claimed that this would be a problem for them from an insurance perspective. But when challenged about the claim on their site, her response was "that is a mistake and we will have have it fixed on the website. Instead of 15 that number should be saying 16."

Although, they did process 100% refund, I am am just glad that I called a day in advance, else my kids would have travelled 1.5 hours to get to this place only to be turned away! Simply unacceptable.

Rachel seemed to show no remorse about this situation and no suggestions to invite them to any other services that would be "insurable for their age".

This was a terrible experience! Would never recommend anyone giving them any business - they dont deserve it.

This morning I joined a group Paddle Board lesson with Eimear. The experience was tremendous.

Eimear was wonderful. She gave us a safety lesson prior to starting which was great. She was so friendly and made everyone feel very comfortable. Must be the Irish in her.

It was really windy today and Eimear took the paddle boards to a small protected inlet prior to our lesson. It was a short 3 min walk. No question Eimear put in extra effort to ensure everyone success and enjoyed the experience. This was very thoughtful.

She had us all standing in no time. Eimears, fun yet calm energy and clear instructions made for a very quick learning curve.

I highly recommend.

I went on a 2 hour kayak guided tour. Jessie was lovely, informative and gave me confidence as a leader; well prepared and considerate. Two hours was plenty to get good views of the city in pleasant weather and calm conditions. The business however did not provide restrooms nor changing facilities which is a pity. You can leave belongings there, securely. Altogether a good trip!

We did the Bowen Island dinner and jetski tour and it was amazing! We are local and booked it for our anniversary and it was a blast. Our guide Jessie made us confident and comfortable on the sea-soo and was very knowledgeable with some history and talking points along the ride to Bowen island and back. What a great way to be on the water with a thrill and dinner! Thank you!
