The Greenheart Tree Walk follows a suspended route up into the trees of the UBC rain forest. Take the free guided tour as you'll miss tons of neat sights and info if you go by yourself.

I cannot stress how cool this place is. Seriously. I would also highly recommend the Greenhart TreeWalk! It's a little extra, but it's definitely worth it! It was so much fun and exhilarating! It should be its own attraction on TripAdvisor.

You still have a couple of days to visit by donation before regular admission prices kick in on March 12. There's not a whole lot to see at this time of year, but the garden is still pleasant to stroll around. I imagine you could...More

This is a beautiful botanical garden on the UBC campus. There is a reasonable charge to roam the gardens, which are lush with local flora like ferns and trees that grow only in the rainforest. I had been to UBC years before for a campus...More

The woodland section is very pretty and interesting, we then went into the underpass to the vegetable and plant section. This looked a little tired, but this may have been because it was the end of the season.

I didn't like the garden: it's big but it seems repetitive, the plants are not well explained and since I went there the day after it rained some paths were muddy. The only great place is the TreeWalk: it is thrilling to walk on those...More

Is April and/or May a good time to visit for many blooms this year (2017)? If not, would later be better for this area? Was curious when most flowers might be in bloom for this year or generally in this climate/region. Thank you for your time and expertise! Excited to visit for the first time.

Magnolias and rhododendrons have just started to bloom! We've had an incredibly cold and snowy winter, so we are far behind what we've been experiencing in the past few years. While you could certainly see blooms in April... More
