First visit here and we were impressed. Nicely indoors to keep out the chilly December day. Loads of fresh fruit, meat and fish. Great range of eateries too. Prices weren't too bad given it is touristy. The kids market was tacky and not really worth a visit. We would certainly make a return visit if we come back to Vancouver.

A great tourist destination because it is a picture of life in Vancouver all in one location. A large variety of eateries for everyone's taste. The vegetable and fruit stands, sea food, meat markets, deli Products and cheeses, bulk foods, and so much more. Then at Christmas time the Island comes alive with home crafts and other Christmas gift ideas.... More

Although I have been to Vancouver several times, this was my first visit to Granville Island and its Public Market. I'll definitely be making the market a "must" for future VAN trips! Stall after stall of amazing fruits, breads, cheeses, prepared foods, fresh pastas, seafood, and much more. It would be a lot of fun to stay in accommodations with... More

We only had a few minutes to spend here but it was a cool market that offers all sorts of food items. We bought seafood that was custom packaged for us and prepared free of charge so that we can ship it. There is no issue with shipping Fish into the USA, btw. We will return to Vancouver soon and... We loved this place. You could find all kinds of good food. I would recommend greek food stall - sorry I forgot the name - They had very good Calamari and Falafel. The Taro Bubble tea at Celine's fish stall was good. We also purchased Gnocchi and Prosciutto di parma from another stall. Excellent service. Overall, a fun time!

One of my favorite things to do while exploring a new city is to check out local markets. Not sure how many area residents go to these places, but regardless, I still had a lovely time browsing around Granville Island Public Market. There are some shops outside of the actual building, but inside, it's primarily food-focused, with produce, bakeries, snacks,... More

Great local products and artisans! Locals and tourists alike are enjoying the market. The entertainers throughout the market area make for a great place for an afternoon snack. Chai tea, donuts, local apples, bread and so much more. My family really enjoyed the cheese stall! Yummy!

et me recommend only one place In Vancouver, it must be Granville Island! The island surrounded by sea, you can spend little money to experience boat. And mew gull walked on the beach. On the island, there was 3 big public markets selling different kinds of foods and gifts. The island was full of pleasure and it was my favorite... More

Stop #22 was amazing! Such a great mix of art, food, music, and more! I would come back again for sure! So many options on how to get there too...by free ferry, by trolley, by car (there seems to be good parking options) and by public bus. Get there!

We enjoyed the market because of the variety of stores and vendors and all of the food and other things available for sale. Anyone who cooks would love the meats, seafood, fruits and vegetables that were available. There were some craft vendors and we found some gift items and we enjoyed a delicious Nanaimo bar
