Our guide (I believe it was Kate?), was incredibly knowledgeable about the neighbourhood and each location we went to! We started at Jackalope's Neighbourhood Dive, which I will definitely be revisiting! I would have liked a choice between a Caesar and maybe a mimosa?? But the pulled pork benny was delicious and made up for my unfortunate dislike for Caesars!!... More

We were very pleasantly surprised to discover the gentrification taking place in this part of town and also learn some historical facts from our lovely guide Julie. Our tour lasted approx 2.5 hours, starting at the HAVE cafe, moving on the the Uncommon Cafe, The Settlement Building, the Railtown Cafe and the Cadeaux Bakery for tasty samples of their fare...

My mom and I live in Calgary and decided to go on a food tour in Banff during an overnight stay. We have been on many food tours all over the world and love them as a way to try different foods and learn about restaurants we may not have found on our own. Our guide Sophie was fantastic, but... Hello Randee543, We are extremely dissapointed about the review and are making significant changes to the tour. As this was our very first Banff Food Tour we knew some tweaking may be in order but we have taken your suggestions to heart and have changed a few things: 1. We have added more savoury dishes and more food. 2. We... More

Met our guide Kate at Canada Place. Her disinterest was apparent as she didn't even bother to ask our names, and we were the only two on the tour. (Another two-some joined us later). While seemingly knowledgeable about Vancouver she was quick to point out that where we were staying was NOT a great choice and there were very few... More

Hello Candi M, We are very concerned about your review in particular with your description of the guide. Kate has worked for us for almost two years and this is the first negative review she has received. As for the food itself, not sure why you thought it was a strange itinerary as the tour description is to take you... More

I like an experience that is unique and a good picture of the local culture. This was exactly that. I like the spots they chose, food was excellent and it showcased up and coming businesses - not your typical franchises which I like to see. I showcased an area that is overlooked and it featured businesses also trying to do... More

I was visiting Vancouver with my cousin and we knew we wanted to do some kind of food tour. Since I had once lived in Vancouver, I was looking for something a bit different. I was not disappointed. As it turned out, we were the only two on the tour and I was pleased that it wasn't cancelled as other... More

My husband and I and 2 other couples were greeted by Kate on time at Waterfront Station for our Brunch tour. From then on it was a fun time and we learned so much about the history of the east end. The venues were unique and the food delicious. i have already recommended it to friends. Thank you Kate!

I went with my wife to the Gourmet Ice Cream Tour offered by Off the Eaten Track. At the first location we got a couple of different flavours. However, at all subsequent shops the only flavor that was offered was Vanilla. No matter if it is in a sandwich, cone or cup, it is still Vanilla – and unfortunately not... More

Hello Dan_Lillian, Thank you for the review, we really appreciate the feedback. Glad you enjoyed our Railtown Urban Eats Tour in Vancouver. This is a neighbourhood in transition and even though the cab driver might have been hesitant, this is a safe, historic, interesting, and of course delicious part of the city that tourists typically don't see which is a... Neighbourhood Profile
South Granville
The neighbourhood closest to the airport, a generous mix of locals and tourists populate the area. The blend has made it a go-to spot to find an eclectic collection of entertainment, from theatres and cinemas, to antique stores and last-minute kitsch souvenir shops. It gives off a transient vibe, and is one of the more higgledy-piggledy areas in terms of what you'll find, making it a fun area to explore and map out, all while taking in the hectic atmosphere of people coming and going, while others look for the best ways to spend their last few hours in the city.
