Very warm welcome by a young man who spoke to us, to please us when he recognized our accent, in impeccable French and gave good advice. Well placed for going around Stanley Park. Not ruinous. I really recommend.

Jeremy responded immediately to our slightly changed wishes. The tour was great and he explained a lot, gave us the opportunity to take photos and all of this in 3 hours.
It was just great.
We would highly recommend the tour, the guide and, last but not least, the excellent bikes.

We rented a Specialized Road bike twice. They are super efficient, I booked online and you just pick up. Bike was in great shape, brand new. Staff are amazing and they know their bikes and can advise on size and others. Reasonable price. Best place to rent bikes in Vancouver.

Helpful and friendly service. We walked in and hired bikes on the day. We had a lovely day cycling round Stanley Park- they gave us information about routes . Locks, helmets and baskets were all provided.

Would I rent from English Bay Bike Rentals again? Yes. Would I recommend it to a friend? Definitely. I already have.
The guys at English Bay Bike Rentals are really nice and knowledge. They set us up with the right bikes, adjusted our seats, and help map out where we were going to bike.

At around $8 hour, you get a good bike, with a slick looking helmet and a bike lock. EBBR was right by Stanley Park and you get a little bike map, but I suppose it's self-explanatory.
You pay for a minimum of 1 hour, but if you come back in 1.25 hours, you get charged for 1.25 hours. It's great as you don't have to worry about getting the bike back by a certain time because you don't want to end up paying for an extra hour. Biking around Stanley Park took a bit over an hour for me and my friend with a lot of stops for photos, etc. :)
The ladies/guys that work there are also really friendly. And even offered their little washroom in the back for me to use, when I asked them where the nearest one is. It's nice to not have to look for one later in the tourist district. :P
I'd happily rent here again.

Renting a bike in Vancouver is the best way to see the beautiful city and English Bay Bike Rentals not only had the perfect location to start exploring from but it also offered excellent bikes! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly as well. We have ridden and rented a lot of bikes but selection here was perfect. We elected to rent road bikes with disc brakes which made cruising around Stanley Park, Granville Island and the seawall a breeze. We rented them for 24hrs and even rode them to concert in the park at night!! Very enjoyable experience thanks to the staff and excellent condition of the bikes. Recommend!!

We hired 2 specialized sirrus hybrids (their city hybrid bikes). We originally planned to cycle around the Stanley Park seawall but the the bikes were so good we took them a little further afield. 5 hours and 25 miles later after a ride along the sea side trail we had taken in so many sights of Vancouver. The absolute best way to see the area and one of our most favourite bike rides. Helmets and locks both included in rental price. We’ve hired a lot of bikes on a lot of holidays and these were by far the best.

We walked here from our hotel and got fixed up with bikes in no time, despite the line when we arrived. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the bikes are well maintained. We then enjoyed a lovely, easy ride around Stanley Park. Highly recommend this shop and the experience!

We've done a lot of bike tours around the world, and this one ranks right up there with the best. It was primarily due to the guide's very easy going, informative and friendly manner. Vancouver, while a pleasant enough city, doesn't provide much in the way of riveting back stories to fill three hours of a tour. However, Jeremy did more with less than we've seen anywhere else. And, a bike tour is absolutely the best way to see this city. It can rightfully claim to be the most bike-friendly city in North America with dedicated biking lanes throughout and car drivers who are happy to yield. Overall, a great experience and we can strongly recommend English Bay Bike Rentals to anyone looking for a fun relaxing tour of Vancouver.
