In a prominent tourist area and overlooking the cruise liners this place probably does not have to look for trade. Unsurprisingly we waited some time at the entrance and then moved away until one of the staff saw this and found us a table. This...More

We ordered a 10 tap taster as we couldn’t decide which to have. Great ales and lagers. People were stopping to look at the ten in a row as they were presented so well. We didn’t order food, but dishes looked good.

In Vancouver for two days for a cruise. Asked hotel for a good Burger & Beer place. Without hesitation he said Steamworks. It was just a short walk from our hotel. Atmosphere was nice and relaxing. We never felt rushed. Food was good and server...More

The atmosphere is really nice and each area has its own niche. There is a classic craft beer/sports bar type area, there is a more upscale area, and we sat in the library area next to a bookshelf. It was fun and different to be...More

Food was excellent, drinks were fun and the atmosphere was great! The building has so many different spaces for different groups of people and preferences. We came with a young child, and everyone was able to find food and drink that they enjoyed. I forget...More

Good place to stop in for a beer or two along with some food being supper or appetisers and full meals. A busy place so be prepared for noise. Do not let this discourage you from stopping in.

Stopped there after a tour of Gastown. The menu had a good selection of food and the service was very good. The food was very good as well. It was very busy and has a nice outdoor eating area with a view of the bay.

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and
stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of
being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of
