Vancouver from the ocean

Zodiac boats are a fantastic way to see Vancouver and learn a little about it without the grid lock traffic. What a blast, a must do for anyone travelling to Vancouver.

I took my sister in law and my two boys on this tour and we loved it! It was very affordable and such a great way to see the city from the water. I tell everyone about this tour. We all enjoyed it very much last year and I hope to do it again with some friends that are visiting... More

My husband and I took this 90 minute Zodiac adventure of Vancouver's Coal Harbour through English Bay and into False Creek yesterday. It is a must when in Vancouver!!! Yes, we live in Vancouver so we do know the area well, but I highly recommend both tourists and Vancourites alike all need to take this ride. Zodiacs are extremely safe,... More

Great way to see a lot of Vancouver in a short time. The zodiac was comfortable even when we were travelling very fast (though not recommended for small children or people with back problems). Guide / pilot was very friendly & knowledgeable. He provided wonderful commentary on the city and graciously answered all questions.

It's a MUST if you just have a couple of hours to enjoy this city, it's the perfect way to create a first impression! Really beautiful views from the Skyline of Downtown, Stanley Park, Granville and the bridges. Furthermore the price is awesome: 90 minutes of fun and culture, I will do it again next time I visit Vancouver :)

We had an awesome time out on the zodiac seeing our beautiful City of Vancouver from a different perspective. Dominic was an excellent tour guide, super personable and very accommodating as we learned all sorts of interesting facts about the sites we were seeing. It was a gorgeous day and we got some great photos. It's a great way to... More

A great little paddle steamer ride around the bay of Vancouver with excellent documentary all the way. Although well signposted the entrance was well out of the way and we had a long walk to get to it from the centre of Vancouver. But the trip was worth the effort and it, together with some of the other sights, gave... More

First time to Vancouver and it was a business trip packed with little time for exploration. I called Sea Vancouver and decided to book the 90 minutes for 5 of us to experience something of this beautiful Country. I don't think that we could have chosen anything else better to do that allowed us to be outside in the fresh... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
