We were fishing a one day drift trip with Pat. We got his name through another guide service located in Campbell, who spoke very highly of the Chromer Sport Fishing Guides. That is a recommendation in itself. We were in Squamish at the tail end of the season but Pat managed to get us into a beautiful snow-belly steelhead. In addition, very nice company and very knowledgeable. We are from Denmark and are definitely coming back for Cohos. Contact Yos and you will be in the best of hands (even though he has Danish roots)…

On a trip from Scotland I booked two days raft float fishing on the Squamish river through Yos. We were in Whistler so were only 40 mins away. We were taken out by Pat as our guide. Yos supplied all the kit including waders, rods/reels etc. The rods and reels were mainly Loop stuff so excellent quality. The whole trip was really fantastic. Pat was wonderful and great company. He had my two boys (who had not fly fished before) casting like a dream after only 15 minutes direction. His knowledge of the river and surrounding wildlife and trees was brilliant. I have fished other rivers in BC before but none were as nice as the Squamish which is smaller and much more beautiful. We didn't manage to get a Steelhead but we all had a few Bull Trout which were great sport. Particularly good when you find them on the hunt and you can target specific fish. I would highly recommend going out with Yos and Pat. Great guys who just love their fishing and work hard to give you a great day out.…
