This small house, within walking distance of Victoria centre, is very interesting. Emily, born 1871, an artist, did many paintings of forests and landscapes in her own particular way. Short video on display. Cup of tea and biscuit available. Friendly volunteers.

Wonderful history and lovely surroundings. Easy walk from inner harbour. Close to harbour and cruise ship terminal and Dallas Road.

The BC Government now own this and it is in the midst of revamping it with paraphenalia dating back to Ms. Carr's time in there. I was disappointed that there was no art work to see.

We are sorry that you were disappointed not to see original Carr paintings. Here in Victoria you may see showings of her work, along with many other fascinating exhibits, at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. Thank you for coming to see us.

A wonderful, insightful look into one of Canada's most celebrated artist/writers. Emily Carr works are on display, but also a look into her private life. Well worth going.

Lovely people own the house and charge a small fee for entry, but there are no paintings on site. I would visit again.

We spent about An hour at the house and garden. We watched a fascinating film by the National Film Board of Canada. They have a tea and refreshment area but we did not have time to enjoy it as we had another engagement.
