A fascinating look back in history to Emily Carr's childhood home. This house is being lovingly restored to it's storied past. Beautiful garden and friendly knowledgeable staff. A treasure tucked away in James Bay. A must see.

This is a hidden gem. The woman who runs it is knowledgable and helpful. It's a great place to slow down a little. It is worth a stop.

This is a small museum of Carr house belongings where you can watch movie on Georgia O Keefe, Frida Kahlo, and Emily Carr and walk through the house. Grounds to estate have a few signs and quotes of Emily's within flowers and plantings.More

We spent about An hour at the house and garden. We watched a fascinating film by the National Film Board of Canada. They have a tea and refreshment area but we did not have time to enjoy it as we had another engagement.
