This building is on the south side of the inner harbour and a spot always being photographed by tourist and local photo enthusiasts alike. The building is lit with small lights attached to the building and worth a view at night when they're lit up. You can enter the building and tour it on your own, only prevented from entering... We were lucky enough to get a tour on the day of the 2017 Throne Speech. You need to pass through security to get in and they will look in your bags. If you are lucky enough to attend a session, you will need to check most of your belongings upstairs - probably best not to bring too much with... More

This historic building looks amazing, by day or by night, and the atmosphere around the area is really cool; possibility to visit it while the assembly is gathered which makes for a great event to attend.

My husband and I were the only two people on an recent afternoon tour. Nick is very knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant. Beautiful building! Not to be missed by anyone who is interested in architecture and government.

Take the tour to see how really grand this building is. They are offered more frequently in the summer and are free. The grounds are lovely too. There's also a restaurant but has limited hours and may only operate by reservation.
