Declining in appeal, like other parts of downtown Victoria, Governement St is getting too busy to enjoy. There is a decent variety of shops, and a few decent pubs, much of it is (over) priced for tourists.
All the stores have the same things you would expect: Tee shirts, sweatshirts, license plates, shot glasses, magnets, etc. It's a tourist area, and we were tourists. It was fun. Nice and clean and talented buskers on many blocks.
