Lots of things to see in a short amount of space. Empress Hotel is across the street as is the wharf. Great place to just people watch and relax. Cross the street and you have a bunch of stores and place to eat.

We visited after visiting Butchard Gardens and the contrat was sharp. Lots of souvenir shops, but also a few jewels and historic buildings, such as the book store displaying amazing quilted wall hangings and chocolate shops giving delicious free samples.
