Come into Mystic Vale from the doggy park, the Campus, or Haro Rd. It's a lovely walk, damp, dark, and very green. Don't bring your dog, though because the water here runs into Cadboro Bay and dog poop is already fouling the beach.
Many trails await you at the University but mystic Vale is the most secluded. The adjacent ravine is spectacular and leads up to a field and down toward a village outcropping of Oak bay.
