Government House of British Columbia is the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of BC. The ground has a vast collection of various trees and plants. Government House are open for public touring one Saturday a month. Free admission.l

Despite having been to Victoria numerous times, had never been here before. The house is immense with lovely grounds that are apparently kept by a huge team (something like 400!) volunteer gardeners. It is a large property with walking trails to enjoy.

Nope fee - and the grounds are always open (except when member of the Royal family are staying there). Occasionally there are events happening in the house or on the grounds which are also open to the public - my favourite is the New Year's Day Levee.
