Duty free shop, and you can drink on board. BC Ferries needs to take a chapter out of their book. No complaints

Enjoyable and short trip to Victoria. Opportunity to buy duty-free also. Walk-ons don't need reservation.

We were pleased when someone recommended the Black Ball Ferry Line. Boarding & unloading was easy as was going through customs. Boat is clean, comfortable & as smooth a ride as one might expect, but we were traveling in a storm! Good food choices & small gift shop. By all means, go this route.

We traveled between Victoria and Port Angeles, with a vehicle. Getting on and off the boat was quick and easy. We arrived quite early, and were able to get on an earlier boat. The interior of the boat was very nice, comfortable, ample seating.

Always love the trip on the Coho. I've done it in all seasons and enjoy the staff and the vessel. The new gangplank in Victoria is great. The ship does roll in a bit during the crossing - never bothers me though. It's a fun experience every crossing.

A great way of travelling to the states. Easy and quick customs. Most of the boat is pet friendly (indoor and outdoors). Beautiful scenery and convenient travel. Would highly recommend the ferry to get from Vancouver Island to Washington.

Black Ball Ferry is a great way to travel between Port Angeles, WA and Victoria, BC. The boarding process is smooth and easy. The seating is comfortable and the decks are roomy. And the food and beverage selections are fairly priced and tasty. Just sit back, irelax, and enjoy the scenery!

The ferry ride itself was nice and fairly calm. I'm used to ferries, but wasn't used to not being able to access the car during the trip. They have a nice gift shop and eating area, and the staff was friendly. Booking package deals online ahead of time was the best way to go!

This about the fifth trip to Victoria in 4 years. No traffic, no Queue, No long custom lines, and no hassle. The ship itself is in good condition and well run. You do have to leave the car deck after parking, but the upper decks are spacious and large. If you are traveling off season or non-holidays, it is a... More

We were traveling from Victoria to Port Angeles, WA so we had no choice but to take the Black Ball Ferry. The customs check was straight forward, quick and easy. The staff on board the Ferry were also professional and polite. There is plenty of seating so you can watch the views from inside the Ferry.
