About
Ron has owned and operated RJ's Charters for the past 25 years. He has been sailing for the past 30 years in the nearby Gulf Islands and US waters. He has completed numerous training in advanced navigation. Ron has chartered boats internationally in Greece, BVI's and Croatia. His current boat is a 40' sailing vessel called "Intuwishin".
Recently retired as a BC Land Surveyor, he now has more time to enjoy sailing and flying his new private plane.

Ron was amazing! He was even able to move our sail date at the last minute for us so we could take advantage of better weather. He knew the best beach to visit and the boat is beautiful!

My husband and I chartered Ron and his lovely wife Myrna for an overnight Sail to Pender Island on July 5-6. This charter far exceeded our expectations. Ron and Myrna were the most friendly and interesting hosts. Ron has extensive knowledge of sailing, as well as interesting facts regarding the islands surrounding Vancouver Island, and Myrna's delicious meals which were prepared fresh on board, rivaled any fancy restaurant. These were definitely just a few highlights on this trip. My husband and I booked this trip to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and it truly was made special by these fine folks, who even provided us with a bottle of champagne to accompany our deliciously prepared salmon dinner as we sat in Pender Island Harbour. If you are looking for a special, out of the ordinary adventure, I highly recommend booking a Sailing overnight Charter with Ron, you will not be disappointed. If you are lucky you may even see some whales like we did and Ron is very happy to let you try your skill at Sailing, as my husband found out ;)
