Nice, clean wharf area with floating houses and seafood diners. Outside seating on the wharf and lots of fresh air. Highly recommend eating at Barb's Fish and Chips. Wonderful fresh fish.

We walked here from our hotel. We didn’t need food or drink, so all that offers is a closer view of the water and boats, plus a few tacky souvenir shops. Not exciting.

This was just an average deal for me. Lots of typical fare but the places did have charm and was a fun place to people watch.

A great place to hang out for an hour or so in close proximity to the city centre. It is interesting to read the history of the artistically quaint and colurful float homes. Very relaxed ambience with lovely harbour views and ample seating. Food is...More

This is a lovely destination - well worth the short walk from downtown Victoria; however, also accessible through the harbour taxi! There are a few eating places, not really restaurants, but the outside seating keeps you involved with the overall vibe! The live music also...More

We had some time to spare, and we watch the people preparing the sale idems and they explained how to do it. We got some idems to support small business.

Nice place to visit, floating houses, food, tours and souvenirs, and a nice park, we didn't see seals, seams that some times they go near by.

Nice place to sit and relax and watch the boats go by, very colorful floating homes, and a few great places to have a meal and desert.

It's about a 5 block walk. All flat but a good 15 minutes. Might be too far for your Mom although there are many benches to stop and rest in between or you can take a Kabuki cab ( bicycle with trailer)
