I have lived in Victoria for 40+ years, and I still love this museum!! You can spend all day and learn so much. They have different feature exhibits and they are always top notch! I would highly recommend it!

This is an exceptionally well designed exhibit. On display is an almost completely preserved woolly mamouth baby...it is hard to believe. Only had time to do BC history and some First Nations and we were very entertained. Nice dioramas and exhibits. Just a peek at the Mammoth exhibit, would have liked to do more. Definitely worth a visit when in Victoria!

Currently Wooly Mammoth Exhibit - very interesting. Museum also has IMAX 3D movies produced by National Geographic. In evenings IMAX also have current movies showing.

No they are not. There are not many "pet" appropriate areas for animals in the city centre. Lots in the surrounding municipalities.
