We wandered into the store and liked the selection and uniqueness of the store. The name is deceiving in the sense that it offers so many different items. Lots of interesting gifts for others and things you might like for yourself

This really is a hardware store, not a department store or a big box store. The hardware department is genuinely well stocked. But where one can wander for a couple of hours is in outdoor pursuits, kitchen gadgets, cloths, glassware, cookware, toys, shower curtains and...More

This is a very nice general/hardware store with three levels to look at. Variety of items range from general house and hardware goods to clothing, camping, outdoor sports, and garden and outdoor selection, along with some furniture and lighting. Fun to look through even as...More

We wandered in here looking for something small (we were in our camper) and left with outdoor chairs etc etc etc!!! My pockets were $1200 lighter and I didn't even get to see the whole place!!! Looking forward to returning.

This place has been around for years and is one of the greatest and most eclectic 'hardware' stores ever! I always find a great deal on something!

Each time we visit Victoria, Capitol Iron is on the must visit lists. Miss seeing Peter at the Store, but they continue to improve. This time we found a large Italian Expresso Coffee maker at a great price.

Capital Iron has come a long way since the days of dismantelling old ships for scrap and selling unique marine supplies. When we lived in Victoria, over 40 years ago, it became our 'go-to' hardware store. We stopped in here on a recent visit to...More
