Nice cruise port. We were the first ship back since the pandemic. The Port has a money exchange to get Canadian dollars for your US dollars and will exchange anything leftover. Easy walk to downtown about 25-30 minutes or cabs available
You can also get a cab or a limo bus if you have a larger group a lot cheaper to take you to Buchart Gardens and pay your own entrance and stay longer than paying the overpriced cruise excursion fee and only stay a few hours- do get Canadian money for the cab or charge it for the best value and your tickets at Butchart gardens
We shared a limo van with 4 other people (so 6 of us) it was $15 each to get there and our entrance fee and a cab ride we had them drop us off downtown after(you have to go to guest services to have them call a cab for you they are not on property) that was $42.60 with a tip all Canadian- our whole day was $156 CAD for the 2 of us and we spent 4-1/2 hours at Butchart gardens that were a bargain! and we were on our time not on a scheduled tour time, We walked back to the ship from downtown which was a very nice walk. It was a great day in Victoria

Pleasant facility within walking distance of the scenic Inner Harbor. Transportation also available. Beautiful views across the water to Washington State. We were enthusiastically welcomed as the first cruise ship passengers in about 900 days!

Ogden Point Terminal is a nice walk with waves and views. You can see mountains in the distance and art along the side.

One of the highlights of our trip to Vancouver Island, was the Ogden Point Breakwater! We saw seals, many types of birds, fishes with some helicopters landing and taking off. It was great! We had a cool, but warm enough day to enjoy the whole walk of the breakwater. There’s plenty of space, so it’s a Covid friendly activity. Just a beautiful experience, to enjoy the mountains and the Victoria skyline. The Ogden Point Breakwater is an absolute must while in Victoria!!

Breakwater is the place to see and take a nice stroll along the water, however COVID times has stopped the Cruise Vessel visits! Wishing the best for this tourist location!

This is a great place to go in the evening to catch a sunset! Conveniently you can also grab an ice cream or have a meal at the Breakwater cafe which is right at the start of the walk.

It is quite a structure to walk around on and a recommended visit. Really enjoyed seeing some wildlife as well at the breakwater.

Couldn't help but add this area to my run. Not crowded in the mornings and wide enough to avoid people. This would be a relaxing walk as well.

A walk along the 1 km long breakwater can be very relaxing and peaceful. Watch the water, the sea birds and the boat traffic while enjoying the calm of the ocean in front of you.

Went for a walk to the very end. Got to see a harbour seal eating fish! Nice long walkway out into the ocean, saw some scuba divers coming out of the water too. There were a few sea lions that popped up to take a breath and then they disappeared. It was cloudy so we didn’t get to utilize the sundial but it would be cool if it was sunny.
