This beautiful hotel and surrounding grounds bring you back in time. Went for high tea which was lovely with beautiful china, 3 tiers of goodies and piano playing in the background. Worth every penny!

It's a once in a lifetime experience, but be prepared for the set cost. I loved it, but once is enough..

Very stately and full of artifacts. They say that royalty still visits and stays there. Well lighted and beautiful at night.

Overall a good historical look at Canada. Some interesting artifacts, although some are really just knick knacks and antiques (e.g. old food cans, uniforms). Very large exhibit on the Indian population of Canada but the exhibit got on the soapbox about the evil Europeans and...More

What gave this hotel its grace was all of the ivy which was taken down during a recent renovation. It’s actually now hard to tour since you have to have tea to get into the porch area but if you go around to the side...More

This is a historic site. It's huge and has many things to see and do inside. You can go in and just sit to people watch, too. There is an afternoon tea that has become famous, and you can participate for a fee.

Recommend that you take a cab from Ogden Point terminal, as you only have a few hours. Both facilities are very close together. Location is classified as the Inner Harbour of Victoria. Taxi driver should have no issues with... More
