Recently I accompanied three children who were visiting for the weekend. Because the ages were 6,9,&11 years old, I was looking for broad spectrum entertainment and the Victoria Bug Zoo was certainly a hit. We planned to go swimming afterwards so a quiet activity after lunch seemed appropriate. We were all fascinated by the well educated and intuitive staff. They... More

This is a very small place and when we were there, they only had one guide showing the bugs off and talking about them. There was one couple really monopolizing the guide which really hurt the experience of others. It is literally one room, so the guide is really important to the experience. Go during off times to ensure you... More

This was so much fun! They had a huge assortment of walking sticks and preying mantis -- many of which they let you hold for your own up close look (if you wanted). They also had a colony of leaf cutter ants behind glass so you could see their society and how it worked. The staff was very knowledgeable able... More

Adult daughter and I visited Bug Zoo. Amazing collection of beetles, bugs, ants. Interesting facts, and was not to busy. Kids seemed to enjoy, we had fun taking pictures of the bugs.

This Bug Zoo is located in a very unassuming location and building and is essentially a front shop area, with a room in the back that houses a variety of species of bugs, from beetles and cockroaches to spiders and ants. It's a very entertaining and informative experience for all ages - parents and kids alike will learn a lot... More

Went by myself for a short visit. The museum is really interesting if you like bugs. You might touch some of them and take pictures. I guess the guide's name was Jessica and she is brilliant. Good option for families with kids.

Was fascinating and entertaining. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. Ended up spending twice as much time as we had planned. First time holding a scorpion, a tarantula and a millipede. Things to check off my list that should have been there but weren't. Recommend!
