Ah, the Victoria Bug Zoo! It took us a while to get here – a few years, in fact – but once we did it opened up a treasure trove of information and learning. A fixture in downtown since 1997, this quaint little zoo is...More

We went because our 12 year old likes things like this. Wasn't a very big place or anything but they do have quite a collection of bugs and things. And there is someone there that explains things like a tour guide.

I used to take the daycare kids to visit at least once a month. They are very knowledgeable about all the creatures they have in the Zoo. They allow the children to hold and touch most of them with supervision.

Shared the experience with our granddaughters and we all enjoyed the visit and the information provided by the well informed guides. Would have no need to attend without little ones in tow who have asked to return.

I arrived shortly after it opened on a Saturday. I hung up my coat and sweater in the lobby as it is a little warmer for the bugs. There was a guided tour just started. In the 1 1/2 hours the guide took a variety...More

I believe it was $10 per person. Although at first that may seem high it really was worth it. Make sure that you get engaged in the tour.
