Absolutely fantastic. Lots of creepy crawlies to look at. The educators are really engaging, passionate and fun. I learnt a lot and had a great time. My husband and 11 year old asked loads of questions and said how much they enjoyed it. We even got to hold a gigantic stock bug called Gertrude!

Well the employee told me it would take 20-40 mins to go through the museum with my 9 year old and that was a total LIE. I’m now sitting here for a third hour while my son walks around living out his Wild Kratts fantasy. the key is that the employee / guides in the back are terrific. They do nonstop loops around the 2 small rooms giving facts about various displays. He’s done maybe 2-3 circuits with them now, and they take out various insects to hold. Walking around without their interpretation/ education would be quite boring indeed.

Very disappointing. Sad little spot with very few interesting insects hiding in dirty cases. Save your money!

Great little museum. And if you have Holly as an interpreter you are in for a treat, she has the knowledge and the passion

Hardly a zoo. 2 small rooms. Very rude and nasty manager who forces masks on little children. Don’t waste your time and especially your money.

The place is really small (2 rooms), but you get to see a variety of spiders and insects. I went with my 12 year old and she felt too old for the place. I thought it was pretty cool. We stayed for about 45 minutes, so it felt a bit overpriced for our experience, but I imagine going with a younger child and definitely getting my money’s worth. Tour guide Emma was very knowledgeable and her enthusiasm for the zoo residents was contagious. A great visit for younger (<10) children.

This was my second visit since 2019, and I was SO glad this place is still operating! The volunteers are so full of joy for the critters, one can learn so very much about the bugs. It's a place that welcomes kids too. It's a little gem, tucked not too far from the main tourist street downtown, Government Street. Do this if you want to experience a very unique stop in Victoria!!

Had a wonderful time with our two kids aged 7 and 4. It’s a small zoo but they do an excellent interactive tour where you can touch and hold many of the bugs. Our kids loved it.

A nice variety of bugs and easy to view. The place is small and it was warm but definitely worth going to.

A storefront with only two rooms, but full of glass cages holding many different insects. Some are difficult to find -- the stick insects look, well, like sticks. Others the docent will gladly take out of their cage and put on you hand. A unique zoo, and a fun 60 minute visit.

I believe it was $10 per person. Although at first that may seem high it really was worth it. Make sure that you get engaged in the tour.
