Your typical university/college pub experience. I've got to admit I have a soft spot for Felicita's, being that UVic is my alma mater, and I've had some core experiences here over the years. That being said, service and food is okay overall, and was a bit more depressing than I remember the last time I was here. There are other/cheaper options for the quality.

This is the pub on the campus of the University of Victoria in the Student Union Building. Very decent food, very decent drinks, good atmosphere, especially on Fridays.

3 D's are decent food, decent service and decent price :) This is the pub on the University of Victoria Campus. We (party of 3) came early to the Pub for another event being held there. We found a booth and were promptly greeted by our server who offered up suggestions. Drinks were ordered followed by our food. The portions were generous and very tasty. One of our party enjoys vegan options and this was accommodated. Our tab was kept open for the function and our waitress assisted us in finalizing the bills before the crowd rush at the end of the function. Very enjoyable and will attend functions and eat there again.

Horrible Customer Service. They had a bigger group waiting for table, so server asked us to move to another smaller table while we were STILL EATING. But they didn't offer help in moving our food to another. Food was okayish.

We were hungry, and knowing how expensive it is to eat in Victoria, we decided to go to the campus and try the food at the Student Union owned Pub, Felicitas.
Well....it was reasonably priced. As part of the Happy Hour, they had a one piece fish and chips for $6 and we each decided to get one. I also ordered a local beer (special at 4.75) plus a Chicken Thai Curry Soup.
Well...the soup was awful. Oily. Tough and tasteless chicken Virtually no Thai curry flavour. And they even had celery (they can afford that?) which always competes with any curry flavour and shouldn't be used.
The fish and chips.......the batter had some dill on it, but still managed to be soggy and flavourless, and when you could find the fish, it was okay. The fries.....why so much salt, folks?
The atmosphere was okay until somebody must have liked a song they were playing and jacked the volume way up. Our server did get it turned down for us. Our server was very affable.....with a good sense of humour.

The poutine was fine. I have stopped eating here as everything else is cheap and flavourless. I'm really surprised at the positive reviews. This place looks like a restaurant but food is more like a high school cafeteria.

I thought they'd have a regular pub menu like other places, but what made me like Felicitas is that they serve Kimchi burger, which I have never seen anywhere else in Victoria. And it was actually really tasty! I am very happy that they have a different menu from other pubs. I can go back there just for that Kimchi burger! (I should go through the rest of the menu thoroughly next time to see if they have other interesting dishes)

I've been to Felicitas a few times, during the month of February, 2011. Great drinks, Great food. The staff was very nice (a shout out to our bartender, Michael Shamus Murray).
