We are Wild 4 Whales! Eagle Wing Tours is Victoria, BC's 1st multiple award winning whale watching tour company. Guaranteed Whales & guaranteed adventure with the most thrilling, environmentally responsible, sustainable, professional, comfortable, and safe marine adventure tour company on Vancouver Island.

Don't take our word for it: we have been rated as the #1 whale watching tour company in Victoria on Trip Advisor since 2007.

As passionate stewards of a world renowned marine environment, we are motivated to provide our guests with more than just "a look at the whales". Eagle Wing Tours was Canada's first 100% carbon neutral whale watching tour company and the only one to support 1% For the Planet.

You will be treated to attentive service by dedicated professionals who have spent their lives learning the intricacies of the local ecosystem. This locally owned and family operated marine adventure eco-tourism company offers the only sustainable, premium experience for travellers demanding more.

We realize that most of our guests have traveled great distances at high cost to experience what we have the privilege of doing daily. We respect, and ultimately are grateful for this, and so with every departure we go above and beyond - maximizing guest satisfaction, overall comfort, and delivering the "WOW" factor!- at the center of the world's highest concentration of Killer whales (orca, or Blackfish) and other whale (cetacean) species in the Salish Sea, such as Humpback whales, Gray whales, and Minke whales.

Our mission to you, our customer!

Eagle Wing's mission is to work with purpose and passion on behalf of all wildlife in the Salish Sea, encouraging our guests to become more involved in the education and conservation of a sustainable, healthy, and more balanced marine eco-system...

Inspiring the conservation of our marine environment, with a thrill!

We took some visiting family from England out on this tour and had an amazing experience. Not only did we see various pods of orcas but we also saw various humpbacks. The guide was passionate about sea life and provided us with lots of interesting facts. Definitely highly recommended.

Eagle Wing Whale Watching Tours was great value for money. Viewing wildlife is a bit of a lucky dip and if you're serious about having an awesome orca experience, one tour may not satisfy you. Easy fix - book more. Although we had to travel to the San Juan Islands to see transient orcas, I well appreciate the effort the... More

Good evening Louisa K, Thank you for a lovely review. I'm sorry you didn't have any luck with orcas when you came out with us, but I hope you had plenty of other wildlife experiences and a great boat trip. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and look forward to seeing you again soon! All the... More

A couple of weeks ago in Victoria we went on a whale watching tour with Eagle Wing Tours, a last minute excursion and not in whale watching season but we were promised a great family day out. The tour was expertly handled by three experienced captains, two of which were naturalists and provided a huge amount of information on local... More

Good evening kellyfA3627JE, What a great tour you describe! The adventurous spirit of having a great day on the water even without the promise of whales is always a fabulous start. You certainly had plenty of wildlife encounters, and I wager a pretty fun boat ride too! Your experience perfectly embodies the phenomenon that you never know what will happen... More

The boat was comfortable and not over crowded. The staff was great - friendly and knowledgeable. Jpod was very active and lots of vocalizations. An experience of a lifetime.

Good afternoon Deidre B, It sounds like you had an amazing trip. Good hydrophones add a whole other layer to the experience, like being able to glimpse the secret underwater lives of the whales. It's always fantastic when the weather cooperates and we are able to have a good listen to the vocalizations. I'm very glad you got to experience... More

Had the opportunity to go out with Eagle Wing in November (not exactly the time of year that makes me think whale watching but wanted to give it a go) and was thrilled when the captain located a beautiful humpback and combined this with a great interpretive experience from the on board staff particularily when out around Race Rocks! Quality... More

Good morning betweensiestas, I'm happy to hear you had a fantastic humpback whale experience! This Autumn we were very lucky with the curiosity and sheer number of humbpacks in the area - it was indeed a true "humpback comeback" and was very welcome by our crew! Race Rocks Ecological Reserve is always a lovely stop as well, with the natural... More

The weather was cool, but calm and the staff VERY knowledgeable and helpful. The catamaran style boat is very stable and comfortable and fast. We saw a few different pods of Orca's and got some great photos of them tail slapping and jumping out of the water etc. Excellent trip, good value for money.

Good morning Stephen S, Thank you for braving our winter weather to go in search of wildlife! It sounds like you had a great trip with killer whales as well! Our semi-covered catamaran is a fabulous option at this time of year - plenty of outdoor viewing space with the added bonus of a heated cabin to warm up in.... More

Probably the most professional, we'll equipped, safe, and knowledgeable of all the whale watching outfits in Victoria. It can be a crap shoot depending on the time of year you go. Price is reasonable and tour length is adequate at 3 hours. Saw Humpbacks and seals but only for about 30 minutes total. Gloves and over clothes available at no... More

Good evening jjj0704, Thank you for braving the December seas and coming out with us for a winter wildlife tour! Fantastic that the humpbacks are still hanging around and you were able to see them as well as other wildlife like seals and sea lions. While winter tours may not carry a whale guarantee, we have definitely been very fortunate... More

We decided last minute to go whale watching and we are so glad we went with Eagle Wing! We saw a number of humpbacks and other sea life - 1 humpback swam right under the boat which was pretty cool; the crew were friendly & knowledgeable; they were well prepared for those of us who weren't (toques, mitts); and there... It is always amazing when the whales decide to come and check US out rather than the other way around! I'm sorry we weren't able to find any killer whales for you but... More
