We are Wild 4 Whales! Eagle Wing Tours is Victoria, BC's 1st multiple award winning whale watching tour company. Guaranteed Whales & guaranteed adventure with the most thrilling, environmentally responsible, sustainable, professional, comfortable, and safe marine adventure tour company on Vancouver Island.

Don't take our word for it: we have been rated as the #1 whale watching tour company in Victoria on Trip Advisor since 2007.

As passionate stewards of a world renowned marine environment, we are motivated to provide our guests with more than just "a look at the whales". Eagle Wing Tours was Canada's first 100% carbon neutral whale watching tour company and the only one to support 1% For the Planet.

You will be treated to attentive service by dedicated professionals who have spent their lives learning the intricacies of the local ecosystem. This locally owned and family operated marine adventure eco-tourism company offers the only sustainable, premium experience for travellers demanding more.

We realize that most of our guests have traveled great distances at high cost to experience what we have the privilege of doing daily. We respect, and ultimately are grateful for this, and so with every departure we go above and beyond - maximizing guest satisfaction, overall comfort, and delivering the "WOW" factor!- at the center of the world's highest concentration of Killer whales (orca, or Blackfish) and other whale (cetacean) species in the Salish Sea, such as Humpback whales, Gray whales, and Minke whales.

Our mission to you, our customer!

Eagle Wing's mission is to work with purpose and passion on behalf of all wildlife in the Salish Sea, encouraging our guests to become more involved in the education and conservation of a sustainable, healthy, and more balanced marine eco-system...

Inspiring the conservation of our marine environment, with a thrill!

We paid $135 each x 3 in the hope of seeing Orcas, seals and other wildlife (and yes I am fully aware that it's nature so it's the luck of the draw) What a disappointment! We spent over 2 hours heading out to sea because a "humpback whale" had been sighted in an area miles from nowhere. I didn't pay... More

We did the sunset tour. We zipped out on a fast boat with about 10 others and a very enthusiastic and interesting captain. He was obviously informed of where there had been sightings and within an hour we were alongside a pod of about 5 Orca. We stayed with them for over an hour, and the group had a baby... More

We couldn't have been more impressed with this tour. Saw several humpback whales, several varieties of sea lions, harbor seals, bald eagles, a darling sea otter and turkey vultures. No orcas, but that is because the chinook salmon on which they feed is growing scarce due to over consumption, so they are further out to sea trying to find food.... More

Although it is expensive, it is well worth the money. Thank goodness the whales are so cooperative! Knowledgeable, friendly staff. It was great in the bigger boat, as lifejackets were not needed, and it was warm inside if you needed a break. It was a cold wind at times when we were out, but chillin' out with the captain certainly... More

Good afternoon Grumpyogre, It sounds like you had a wonderful trip aboard our semi-covered catamaran, 4 Ever Wild. It is a great option for the colder days of for those who prefer the option to warm up when needed - it is always cold out on the water! We do provide extras (jackets, gloves, hats) for the more adventurous types... More

Over 4 hrs of sun, fun, and many whales, both humpbacks that were breaching and Orcas. We also saw elephant seals and otters, harbor seals. The commentary by the Captain was great, very informative. The time went by quickly. We were so impressed that we went again less than 2 months later.

We booked a whale watching tour on-line as part of an Alaska cruise. The day we were in Victoria was cool and rainy, but we were not disappointed by the trip. We saw whales and sea lions. The captain tried to find more wildlife for us, but the animals did not want to cooperate that day. I would highly recommend... More

Our second trip with Eagle Wing. We went on one of their smaller boats a few years ago later in the year and had excellent sightings of orcas. This time we tried the catamaran. Very spacious, loved the different areas to sit /stand. Higher position for photos. Orcas a no show- they are only just returning to these waters apparently.... More

Good afternoon lazigirl, Very good advice from an experienced whale-watcher! It is always much colder on the water and layers are always recommended, though we do provide extras for those who need them, as you mentioned. We appreciate you recognizing that wild animals are, indeed, wild, and some days are more difficult than others. However, with our longer tours and... More
