The Victoria Public Market is an old stripped out Bay store with a few vendors. It’s sort of depressing and cold.

We first discovered this market on a walking food tour and now go back every visit to Victoria. The market is indoors and has lots of food vendors. We’ve tried most of them now and all have been delicious. Great place to go for lunch.

Located in the historic Hudson building, dozens of vendors gather here to sell meats and cheeses, oils and vinegars, tacos and groceries, and more. I was excited to find a plant-based butchery called The Very Good Butchers and my brother enjoyed a sub from the...More

It is not a market, it is a food court. Small. Less than a dozen choices. Only good thing is that there are no chain places, they are all independent.

This public market place just wasn't that great! I think the kitchen store in there which had tons and tons of items was the best thing going. There were about 3 little restaurants, I believe a coffee or tea shop, and a small bakery that...More

Local made goods and products. The place has a 2 hours free parking lot crossing the road in front of the building.

We are visiting Victoria and came across this venue, the Public Market at the Hudson River. There is a very good variety of places to eat, tough choices for a visitor, as one may get only one day in Victoria. We chose VJ's Sutra, which...More

It's basically a food hall with some eateries, a tea shop, a health food shop, and an olive oil shop. I was expecting something bigger. It's clean and has public restrooms. If you are in a time crunch I wouldn't make the trek to check...More

One of our favorite stops in Victoria! We always buy tea, spices, chocolate and some of the best food from the the pie place, bakery and poutine waffles! Truly local artisans! Take the time to go and try things you may not have tried before...More
