I went to Francis King Regional Park last summer, though not as impressive as Avatar Grove near Port Renfrew, it’s still worthwhile. Great hiking trails!

Many different trails and a nature house. Good for those using wheelchairs, walkers or scooter as there is a boardwalk that is fairly flat. The park entrance is well marked and maps at trail head. Can access through the Highlands, Prospect Lake area, or Burnside...More

A deep forest with giant moss covered trees. In japan this is called forest bathing, a good place to come to regenerate and fill up on some beautiful forest oxygen

For those who enjoy nature and a good hike. Extensive trail networks can make your day into a good workout including Thetis Lake park trails for those wanting more exercise. Dogs also enjoy the trails. Best to check the trail maps on line https://www.crd.bc.ca/docs/default-source/parks-pdf/maps/francis-king-regional-park.pdf?sfvrsn=12
