Kingsley took 4 of us for a fishing trip on September 21! It was an amazing time in the boat! We caught some rockfish, salmon and lots of crab all which we got to keep which was an amazing treat! He even fillet all of it for us! He offered us some drinks and snacks while we were in the water which was superb! He even let me jump in the water! We even saw whales! Thank you Kingsley!

It was an excellent way to spend the day. I went with my crew and had so much fun. It was amazing going with a guide who had so much knowledge of the see ways. Thank you for the best experience ever and for helping us catch delicious fish.

We were on an Alaskan cruise with a stop in Victoria and went out with Captain Kingsley for the day. We all had minimal or no experience with sport fishing but we were hoping to have a fun day and catch some fish. Kingsley did not disappoint! He is a complete professional and very patient with us newbies. We started by catching Chinook salmon (which we couldn't take due to the season) but all six of us got to bring one in. Then we went for Rockfish and quickly caught our limit. The icing on the cake was at the end when our Captain took a couple of the smaller fish we caught and fed them to the local bald eagles. It was amazing to see them pick the fish right off the water. Kingsley cleaned our fish for us when we got back to the dock. Can't recommend KingSize and captain Kingsley enough. Only wish we had had a full day to go after some Halibut!

King is a terrific person who created lifetime memories for our group. We came in on a cruise ship and made a mistake with our original booking, Vancouver not Victoria! When we found out about the mistake we had 1-day to find a new boat in Victoria. We called everyone on the list in order by Google search and they all recommended KingSize Adventures. After the third recommend I knew I had to make the call. From the moment King answered the phone he was incredibly accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we'd have an opportunity to fish. The winds were high and unlike other charters in the area that cancelled on their bookings, King pulled through and made it happen for us. He got creative and took us to places where the wind wasn't harsh or we were protected from the large waves. The boat was stocked and ready to go, we just needed to show up! We had a group of inexperienced fishermen and he made it incredibly simple. Coaching each of us as soon as something got on the line. There to answer our 1000 questions about the boat, fishing, Victoria or whatever. We had an incredible time and would recommend King to anyone.

Thanks Connor, I hope your guys all got back to the Ship on time and will have a day to remember. Would love to see you out on the water any time, you guys truly enjoyed fishing as much as anyone I have had on the boat before and made the best out of what was the worst fishing conditions so far this year with winds coming in at over 50Kmh! King.

I had the good fortune of winning a charter day with Kingsley and Kingsize Adventures and it far exceeded my expectations! The luck didn't stop there either. We were treated to a beautiful sunny day with light wind early that died down, providing incredibly flat waters. From the get go we knew we were in for a fantastic experience. King greeted us immediately upon arrival and was all set up to maximize our fishing expedition by having everything prepared in advance, including have some crab pots soaking! After running us through all of the safety information King detailed the plan for the day. This is where his knowledge and expertise really began to shine through. Kings understanding of the weather and tides is second to none! He outlined what we could expect out while out on the water and he completely hit the nail on the head! Our adventure started off in search of some halibuts (although King proved he knows exactly where to find them). Of course King had everything prepared ahead of time, and once he expertly dropped the anchor positioned us for an optimal fishing experience we were set to hook up some of these monsters. As this was the first time any of our party had fished for halibut we didn't know what to expect, but King very clearly explained everything to us. As we let the scent set, King had us casting for some coho's while we waited. Lorne (who had never salt water fished before) hooked onto a nice little one that we unfortunately had to release do to it being a wild one. After watching the halibut rods twitch as sharks nibbled at the bait we didn't have to wait long before we had our first one on! King cal my walked me through what I needed to do, and after some heavy reeling we got our first glimpse of the giant on the hook before she decided to dive back down to the bottom. Her and I did this dance a couple times, until during her third trip up she got the line entangled with two of the other lines we had down and snapped off. Incredibly she slid down the lines and became caught up in them. King had two of us move over to the other side and calmly reel up the lines in unison, talking us through the whole process. Amazingly we brought her up along the side of the boat and King secured before bring all 120cm and 47lbs of her into the boat! It was only after she was safely I the boat that King let on just how lucky we were! Moments after this excitement we were on to another beautiful halibut. My wife, Naomi, (who is clearly the top fisher in our group) landed our second Hali of the day. Her's being a 123cm/50lbs female. Recognizing that we needed to get some bait back in the water King quickly got us set back up and before the bait even hit bottom we were onto our third fish. Lorne landed another huge Hali. His came in at 118cm! Next we moved on to jig for some chinook salmon. Again, King knew exactly where to take us for success. With everything already setup for us, he quickly had us in position to start hooking onto some beautiful fish. Naomi of course got us started by reeling in a gorgeous 20 pounder. Our success continued as King expertly repositioned us over top of schools. I lost count of how many we landed, but they were all on that 15 - 20 lbs range, and Naomi clearly caught the most (more than doubling the rest of us). Unfortunately we had to release them all due to closures, but none the less it was an amazing experience. All in all it was an amazing day of fishing and I cannot express my gratitude to Kingsize Adventures enough for this opportunity! Everything from the boat and the equipment, to the refreshments and snacks, to King's knowledge and hospitality totally exceeded our expectations. This is a truely professional operation, and King is an expert at what he does. If you are looking for an amazing fishing experience I would not hesitate to recommend Kingsize Adventures!! I can't wait to book our next adventure with them!

Thank you so much Cory, Great bunch of people and so happy you had a super time on the water. Naomi I'm sure will be teaching "how to jig Salmon" courses at the next sportsman show! Enjoy the bounty of your catch and hope to see you on the water again soon. King.
