The terrain changes as you walk the beach toward cattle point in the distance if you don’t park in the lot. There are signs mapping the area with an explanation. Close your eyes and then just look at the terrain. Could be Scotland, Newfoundland or...More

This is a great place to visit. We love roaming around the tide pools and just enjoying the scenery. This site has some history, between 1860 and 1910, cattle were pushed overboard from paddle steamers where they then swam ashore. This is where Cattle Point...More

This is a good point in the island to see nature. Lots of birds and aquatic animals around. Also the walk and the views are so stunning.

I ended up spending more time here than planned, but that's a good thing! There's lots of historic markers about the history of Cattle Point, and the scenery is wonderful! It's a good place for a little walkabout, with some trails, a bit of rock...More

Fun by day to explore or to just bask in the sun, inhale the sweet scent of the ocean and seaside views, watch the sail boats pass by and listen to the waves lap the shoreline! But at night it is especially perfect to sit...More

I walk through here all the time. Even on a cloudy day it's beautiful. But when it's clear it's breathtaking. There's a lot of parking.

Cattle Point Park is a fablous place to take the family after visiting Beacon Hill Park. Facing the ocen, the park is suitable for short or long walk, sitting on one of the numerous benches to watch the view or a strenous jog with friends....More

This is a park where you can get some great views of the ocean side, not the easiest park for walking as the shoreline is mostly rocky! Vehicle parking is free, road way is one way in & out the highway.

Yes. It is just a public park next on the waterfront. It is also very close to a nice beach called Willows Beach, which is popular with locals and has a little cafe and place to buy food, plus washrooms, and playgrounds... More
