YYJ AIRPORT SHUTTLE is no longer in operation as of the end of 2022. . VIctoria has turned down repeated requests from Uber and others to operate in Victoria. The public has no choice but to use expensive taxis. There is now no economical way for visitors to reach the city of Victoria from Sydney where YYJ is located. Buses are terrible with no direct routes between Victoria and the airport terminals. The buses from Victoria actually dump you and your luggage off a mile from the terminal and expect you to walk! I am a world traveller and have never seen such poor service to a majour airport in my life. Enough to stop visiting Victoria.

The first driver was really nice, they switched part way through our journey. The new driver didn’t wear a mask at all (as is mandated my the provincial health).

Excellent service from Victoria airport to our city hotel and we could book return trip, with minor saving on fare, on return trip with with hotel pickup. Drivers are punctual and courteous.

Make your next trip to and from the airport one of comfort and relaxation. You are efficiently, comfortably and safely transported to or from the airport right to the front door of your hotel The driver is punctual and courteous in all aspects of your journey. Let someone else worry about travel time and conditions while you simply relax and enjoy the view!

We've used this service a number of times over the last couple of years. Especially great to not leave your car a the airport for extended periods. The pickup locations downtown are many and handy. The driver's are always courteous and on time. On this occasion I was solo. Pickup is near my house and drop off is at the departures door at the airport. How handy is that!

Everytime I can’t organize myself a ride I book with the airport shuttle service. However, this time I was driven by Neil and let me tell you that guy the most professional, courteous and charismatic bus driver I’ve ever had! He really made a conscious effort to go above an beyond, not just for me, but for everyone riding the bus. What I’m saying is hire more guys like Neil.

I booked the shuttle online. It arrived a bit early at our hotel and we drove to the main office downtown-about 5 mins. We were early so waited about 10 mins for other passengers. It was raining but the highway was clear and we arrived at the airport in 30 mins. The driver was very friendly and helped everyone with their bags.
We will definitely use them again!

Hi, I'm an international student going to Victoria in January, is the immigration process in Victoria's airport as bad as Toronto? I've heard people were sent back to their country in Toronto because of the official. I once went to Vancouver and it was okay.

What is the usual way to book the shuttle's pick up time at the airport: Should we use the arrival time of the flight or the expected time we will be free to board the shuttle (which would be about an hour) ?

The VIctoria BC Airport Shuttle has specific departure times from the airport all day from about 7:55 am to 11:45 pm, departing the airport approximately every 45 minutes. I would suggest booking the one for the time you think you will be free. Usually, if you miss one you can rebook for the next.

Hi. I am landing at YYJ Airport next week Monday at about 18h00. I want to catch the shuttle from the airport to the Capital City Center Hotel. I see I can make an online booking, but there is also the risk of additional charges if my flight is delayed.
Do I still have a good chance of getting a ticket on the day if I purchase it as soon as I arrive at the airport?
Also, am travelling with a debit card and Canadian dollars. No credit card. Trust that will be acceptable?

Should be room to book the shuttle when you arrive at the airport. For payment, perhaps best to message or call the company directly, they are very efficient and good service.

As Loren G mentioned, if you have all your documents ready and complete the Customs Declaration on board the plane prior to your arrival, Customs & Immigration is quick.
It depends, also, on your arrival time and if other International flights are arriving at the same time.
YYJ is a small airport with a single terminal. There will be major terminal construction for next couple of years that may add to congestion.
