Open daily for drop in spirit tastings. Okanagan Spirits is Western Canada's original craft distillery and has been producing award-winning B.C. spirits since 2004. Internationally acclaimed as North America's only designated World Class Distillery (World Spirits Awards), our portfolio includes a range of spirits from Whisky such as Rye, BRBN (Bourbon-style), the exclusive Laird of Fintry Single Malt Whisky to Vodkas, Gins, Fruit Liqueurs, Brandies (Eaux de Vie) as well as Canada's first genuine Absinthe. Our distilleries are located in both Kelowna and Vernon offering tours and tastings year-round.

We visited here after finding under the top 10 things to do in Vernon. We went in to do a tasting on a Monday afternoon and were the only ones in the distillery. They had plexi glass and hand sanitizer to ensure everyone’s safety from Covid-19. John took us through the tasting and was very knowledgable and friendly. It’s $5 for 3 (decent size) tasters, unless you buy a bottle then it’s included. Love that all the spirits they make are made with local ingredients where possible, and many of them are gluten free! Would recommend trying the haskap and blueberry liqueurs...we ended up leaving with a bottle of each! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Vernon.

My husband and I did the Whisky Experience in Vernon and it was fantastic. Andrew, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable, I especially enjoyed his stories of how the distillery is part of an interconnected web of wineries and farms in the area. After the tour and tasting we tried some of the liqueurs and brandies too and he told us all about how they're made, where the distillery gets the fruit, and how the weather affects which products they have to offer. I would recommend this tour and tasting to anyone with the least interest in whisky! Even if you don't end up liking whisky very much you'll still have a good time and learn a lot.

The company went above and beyond to hand deliver their excellent gin selection to my folks, who reside in a senor's complex. Thank you for helping my father celebrate is 87th birthday. Personally, I have enjoyed their liquor sample kit which I purchased from a Christmas market in Vancouver in the past.

We paid quite a bit for a tour and tasting which ended up being a review on their history, sitting at the bar, with the occasional waved reference to tanks and mechanism in the background.
We were then moved to a table and enjoyed a very comprehensive tasting of their delicious spirits, including vodka, whisky, and gin. The tasting was definitely better than the 'tour', but the location is impressive and the staff quite knowledgeable. They could have been more excited and personable, but I know how *I* feel After working a long day hosting tourists.

Our whiskey experience far exceeded my expectations, even though I was excited enough about it to save it for my birthday.
We arrived late (my mistake), but Jennie was very accommodating & even stayed after hours with us. Both myself & my friend had very specific questions about not only the product, but also the production method & the machinery involved . . . & Jennie was able to answer all of our questions without missing a beat.
Most important, though, was that she has so much personality, which made all of our conversations truly enjoyable!
I highly recommend booking a whiskey experience with Jennie - the value far exceeds the cost.

This place is very easy to get to, right in Vernon but more in the big box store area rather than downtown. The place is a delight just to look around in. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our tasting - covid meant that space was strictly reserved. We got great value for the tasting.

So you take Apples fresh from the Orchard. Smash them up, stew them, put them through an amazing still. And Viola! Vodka that does a body good. No burn, just pure Spirits. No cheap mass production. Hand crafted distilled product that makes every mix jealous. You're going love this place. Cheers!

We met as a group, we had a caterer provide snacks. We were served delicious gin with elderflower tonic, it was delicious. We had a private tour of the facility and the guide gave good explanations of how the alcohol is made.

We came all the way out here from Kelowna after visiting the tasting room there and finding out we couldn’t taste the whisky out there. It was well worth the gorgeous drive. The tasting was fun and the boutique features the pots and stills on display. So many products and styles of whiskys were on offer we were really impressed! We really enjoyed our visit and brought home some bottles!

We did the whiskey experience with Craig and enjoyed it so much we came back the following day to do the gin introduction. So much knowledge and passion for what they do, well worth visiting. I don't usually like bourbon but their black bourbon is incredible.

Hi there,
Thank-you for your interest in our distillery. Our summer tastings are $5 per person, however if you make a purchase we waive this fee. For groups larger than 6 we recommend emailing us directly (email can be found on our website) to confirm a visit, we do not take guaranteed bookings in the summer but will be able to give the staff notice to be able to accommodate your group.
