The Honey Farm is truly one of a kind. You can actually see the bees making honey and try to spot the queen bee through the glass cases. The mead is tasty if that is your thing. It is without a doubt a fun homegrown experience.

While visiting family in Vernon, my grandkids were asked to come up with a list of things to do, places to visit, etc. This was high up on their list. Quite interesting, especially the taste testing, but don't eat the wood leather honey! Would up buying quite a few different types of their organic honey, as well as a few... More

Honey here is not just local but from Manitoba, California and Australia. Good cross-section of honeys for sampling. Mead tasting was very nice. There's is the mead wine. The blackberry was exceptional. The warm mead was delicious. Perfect for cooler weather.

Great place to visit, very educational. Love sampling all the tasty honey variations as well as sampling the mead wines. Great product selection, this is my new favorite store, I will definitely be back.

If your looking for something to entertain your little ones for an hour or so this is a good choice ! I took my young son here and he had a blast he has always been a little scared of bees and wasps so I figured a little education was in order. He was in awe of the living hive... More

We stopped in at this great little attraction on our way through Vernon. Other reviews had stated that there was not much there, I beg to differ. As soon as we walked in the staff were welcoming and friendly. There is a working bee hive for the kids to look at as well as instruction and information on bees. The... More

Nothing much here beyond a store for shopping for honey products or a honey tasting bar to buy honey wine. No tours or presentation centre.

Hello Gabrielle C, We do have, as you mentioned, a lovely store with a selection of honey related products as well as complimentary mead and honey tasting stations. Unfortunately, the statement we have 'no tours or presentation centre' is inaccurate. We do have a live honeybee observatory right in our store, educational posters, and guided tours in the summer months.... More

Very kind staff and lots and lots of type of honey. They keep some (2,000) bees and in cloudy / rainy days they keep slow and quiet.

Learn all about bees in their learning center, taste a variety of meads, and shop honey/bee products. The mead was delicious (I'm not normally a mead fan). Staff were very friendly. Well priced.
