A great place to spend a sunny day in Whistler. Cycle down there from Whistler village, take your bathers and a picnic, rent a kayak or paddle board and just relax in the sunshine. There is a cafe (coffee, cold drinks and snacks), rest rooms and changing cubicle. Perfect!

Lakeside Park is a nice location for family or couples to enjoy the beautiful weather during the summertime in Whistler. This park is a convenient place to stop for a break while in the middle of a bike ride, or to simply drive to for a paddle boarding or other lakeside adventure!

Great park to enjoy Alta Lake. There's a relatively shallow swimming area and a shop to rent boats, kayaks, paddleboards and the like. We rented a canoe and went down the River of Golden Dreams from Alta Lake to Green Lake. The water was pretty shallow and maneuvering the bends of the river was harder than we anticipated but it was a great experience nonetheless.

Its a bit off the main road, so take a bus service or cab from the Village. It is great for picnics, but carry your own food. No other food there.

There are 2 docks and a floating platform. You can rent kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, etc. A really nice little park with plenty of grass for the little ones to run around. The water was surprisingly warm enough to swim.

Right on the trail from town, this park is a great little get away from the rest of Whistler. It is pretty small so fills up quickly, but also keeps the crowds down. Play area and wading area for the kids, and a dock for kayak/canoe/SUP.

It costs about $35 to rent a 2-person canoe for 1 hour. You rent from a kiosk down near the water. They will give you a ziplock bag for your phone, so decide before you go if you want to take it. We ventured to the calm end first and then decided to kayak down to the sailing end of the lake. Know that on s windy day you will work hard to come back to the dock. You’ve been warned! All the workers were super relaxed and helpful-good for helping get in and out of the kayak!!!! Take the family and go!! Super fun!!

My wife and I went to Lakeside Park to take advantage of their canoe rentals. The boats are clean and are maintained. The lake is beautiful and just a great place to enjoy on the water or their beach
