Rainbow Falls - just beautiful

Went for a short hike to the falls, can be done on a round looping track. Absolutely beautiful. Not so hard to do this section of the track. Take insect repellant

Although is was Summer , the trip up to Whistler was beautiful. The town is quaint and one can imagine the playground it becomes in Winter. The cable cars are amazing -longest and highest I have ever used. Scenery for ever. Food and drinks pricey for a traveler.

Went snow mobiling with The Adventure Group and had such a fantastic time going up and down this mountain. The views were incredible from the top and it was our favourite memory and excursion during our time at Whistler!

I did this hike a few years ago wonderful pathways and boardwalks. It was mid summer and it was a little cooler up at the lake. It's also longer hike than I thought it would be. Then the mosquitos came out. Oh boy did we get bit.

About 1 hour drive from Whistler - they load you off at the hut, you go through a crash course on riding a snowmobile - they have snow shoes and helmets - and off you go riding in the middle of nowhere trail enjoying clean pristine air and scenery - loved it

We took a helicopter to the top of Rainbow Mountain. Had a three hour hike on ice, up large newly uncovered rocks and to the top flagpost. After lunch we crawled down the side of a cliff and onto a bank of ice making our way back to the helicopter pick up point. It was an adventure of a lifetime... More

Went up in late May and the lake still had snow covering it, very pretty. The hike up is very steep in places and a constant climb for the whole 8 km to rainbow lake. There was snow cover for the last km which made it a little slower going. Coming down is also hard on the knees. But the... More

Rainbow is the broad peak directly North of Whitler Blackcomb ski resort. In winter, it can be accessed from two different trails but only by very fit and determined backcountry skiers. Snowmobiles can also access and play in the lower areas East of the mountain, and different helicopter services will take you to the top for a surprisingly reasonable charge... More

Rainbow mountains hidden gem is rainbow lake. it's at the top of rainbow mountain. This lake is the mail source of drinking water for Whistler. This is by far one of the best and most rewarding hikes in Whistler. It's an all day hike - if you're doing it mid summer you'll have plenty of daylight to work with. I... More
