Definitely the best library I’ve ever been to. I spent a very happy hour on a rainy day sitting in front of a roaring fire with my book and a giant coffee (purchased elsewhere). It is a wonderful space, very light and airy with lovely pieces of art on the walls. There is a gorgeous wall hanging above the fire made by the local Quilters’ Guild. I so wish I lived nearby.

I was so pleased it was open till 7PM. You can come here after skiing and warm yourself up by the fireplace located in the large lounge area but the back of the library. Great views from here also on the outside park and trees.

This is a peaceful stop in an adventurous town. It's very relaxing to just sit and read. They have a wide selection and a beautiful setup.

I spend a lot of time at the “library”; It’s actually more of a community centre…Concerts, playtime, screaming kids, and loud cellphone and in-person conversations. Don’t come here if you expect, need, or want a quiet place to read or work.
Lots of comfy seating, a warm place on a cold day, and clean bathrooms (usually no soap).
Great selection of magazines, cookbooks, and videos (laptops available).

I love books and always try to visit the local library of the places that I visit.

The library has a number of seating areas, looking out on the scenic views outside. It even has a coin-operated coffee machine, in lieu of a cafeteria.

Free wifi.

The library staff were very welcoming and helpful - thank you!

Fancy building. Good-looking staff. Lots of books. People reading books. Normal Library atmosphere. I wish they sold food.

We were at Whistler for a week's vacation and our daughter and granddaughter came for the weekend just before Halloween. I saw in the local paper a free activity for kids 6-12 on Sunday morning so we registered. It was a wonderful nature experience for Christina-- learned a lot and had fun.

This is a small resort museum which I thought gave a good brief history of how Whistler was born and of the resorts short history. Well worth a visit on a wet and Rainey day!
