I had to write this as the "service" my friend and i received at this establishment was abysmal, insulting and just horrible. Last week (Wed) we came in mid afternoon. The only person working there at the bar was talking to a friend and went out of his way to ignore us for a good few minutes. We waited there and had a look around, not sure what to do with covid and spacing. After a few more minutes, the guy turns to us and says, "I'm not sure if you understand English but there's a sign right there!" To this we were shocked and had a look for said sign but it was by NO MEANS large and out there for us to see. It was so rude, there was no way we were going to give that guy service so walked out and luckily found a wonderful other brewpub called Coast Mountain nearby who had friendly, fantastic service. I hope management sees this and takes note of that employee. Disgusting!!

Hello Kim
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Since re-opening our taphouse on June 1st there are lot of new rules and regulations in place to protect the employees and customers from the spread of COVID19. A strategy suggested for businesses to communicate information is to post signage at the entrance to limit customer and employee proximity. We have posted signs at the entrance and inside the doorway once you have entered the facility. We usually allow customers a few minutes to read and understand the information to ensure they can enter the facility under the new circumstances and enjoy services we have to offer.
I am unsure if the comment you quoted is fully true as it would be very out of character from our employee. However, customer service employees often find themselves getting frustrated with customers who do not read signs but there is a better way to convey that. I do apologize for the comment and the feeling of being ignored. I will be taking this information you have provided for training and better experiences for our future customers.
If you would like to try visiting us again, I would love to treat you to a round on me and we can show you the service that we are known for. Please email me at Jenniek@whistlerbeer.com.

Took a tour that made this the final stop. What a mistake. I tried to order a beer and was sized up (he looked at me up and down) then told me to go to my table and would take my order. I watched him serve and talk to others before returning to behind the bar. Don’t know why he didn’t serve me but felt like because I am Asian he didn’t want to deal with me. I’ll never go back or recommend them to anyone.

I am a craft beer fan and I have to say that I have never actually taken a beer back at a brew pub...........at least until visiting this beer pub. I just could not drink it. The replacement was just about as bad.
Unfortunately, I also decided to order a pizza, not knowing that had I driven another 200 yards to the end of the street, was Whistler`s best pizza maker, Functional Pi.
Anyway, I was starving and had already returned one item, so was able to get through a couple of pieces and leave the rest to my wife and the rest on the serving dish. I never do not finish my pizza so this was a first. The pizza was obviously not made on the premises and you could likely buy better frozen pizzas at any grocery store. It was served somewhat warm, had an insipid white bread like crust and was quite tasteless.
This place has the ambiance of a garage in a warehouse.
Fortunately, nearby Coastal Mountain Pub is a wonderful alternative with great beer and a nice intimate ambiance. Also outside seating where you can come with your dog if you wish. No food other than snacks, but you have alternatives nearby.

The first stop we make whenever in Whistler… Their Chestnut Ale is my #1 favourite ever and nothing beats enjoying a pint on tap right from the source. My Husband is an IPA drinker and he isn’t a fan of theirs in general, but they do a great job with everything else we have ever tried there. The Lemoncello is an awesome summer patio beer that I am thrilled to see back in their line up this year. The Apricot Wit, Bear Paw and Black Tusk are a few other notable brews. Big thumbs up to also having a dog friendly patio out back!

I love visiting spots off the beaten paths. This is a great spot with a super chill vibe you would get from an old school skiing town (obviously not Whistler anymore). Our server was really great and helpful. Our food was amazing and super fresh. I can’t wait to go back.

The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome when we arrived early. The actual tour doesn't take that long but it was interesting nevertheless. I particularly loved the grapefruit beer. If you want something sweet after that, go across the road, there's a small bakery with decadent sweets!

We went to the Whistler Brewing Company after a long day at the slopes. My husband loves beer and brews his own. When we went to talk to the bartender about the different types of brews he didn't seem interested in talking. When we asked what beers we should get he said everything is good. Any time that we asked for anything it seemed as if we were bothering him. We racked up a hefty bill with merchandise and drinks but didn't get a welcoming feeling at all. I would recommend their beer but I would have grabbed a six pack and drank it my hotel than feel unwelcomed.

The staff are so friendly and nice. We loved the grapefruit beer and the Australian pie for lunch. I would definitely come here again. It's a fun atmosphere and good place to watch a hockey game, while enjoying a local brew.

Don't go for the service (below average). Certainly don't go for the food (microwaved ready-to-serve). If you feel you have to make the effort to drive to Function Junction to the brewery, then just enjoy their beer, which is great. Better yet, find a great restaurant in the Village with good food & good service that serves Whistler Brewing Co. beer. You don't need to go to the brewery to enjoy the beer. Nothing else there is worth the effort.

Popped into Whistler brewery when passing and sampled a few tasty beverages.
Nice range of beers though no stouts or porters (my fave) but the IPA was very noice and the mountain lager crisp and clean.
Service was very good, presentation very good and the knowledge of beers high, as you would expect. Unfortunately we missed the tour time but will look to make it next time.
If you are in Whistler or Creekside village you should definitely pop along - you can hop on the loop bus (#1 or #2) and for $2.50 you can be there in around 10 minutes.
Recommended.
